djones0930
MacRock went from bands I knew of and heard of to bands I dont know and never heard of. Haha yeah my knowledge of 85% of the bands are pretty weak As for Soil & Sun -- I'm checking out their music on myspace right now...I'll be at Court Square theatre anyway to see lucas and barry, so I'll definitely catch this band. Reminds me of anathallo

djones0930
too far of a drive for bands I'm only a little into. Understandable -- it'll be about a 90 minute drive (friday traffic) but thankfully I have some friends at JMU with whom I can stay both nights. You should hitch a ride with Brent Eyestone of Magic Bullet Records since he's supposed to be there Saturday for some sweet vinyl thing Go to the website and click on "Panels" and just read down a bit. Pretty cool.
skaddict
I'm going for saturday. It looks to be pretty fun.
djones0930
if youre going to this you should go see good old war! Thanks man! Yeah anyone who really knows these bands let me know what's good so I can check them out! I went through the band list that play before Tim and Austin, and they're pretty decent. Also earlier I checked out bands at random and Field Day had Don Caballero guitarwork, but not as intense -- it was more mellow like instrumental MTB (from HRP) haha whatever
cactusbot
Algernon Cadwallader, Native, Antlers. I am a big fan of all these bands, especially Antlers. Definitely check them out if you can.

scottheisel
MacRock went from bands I knew of and heard of to bands I dont know and never heard of. This. I used to dream of making the drive out to fests like this and More Than Music Fest back in the late '90s, but man, the lineups have sure taken a nosedive.
