daniel
I haven't really seen much Screamo discussion on VC as of late. Post your favorites.

kurtz
^if you think Saetia is a thread ender, you really have not dug very far into the genre. Some of my favorites are Raein, Daitro, City of Caterpillar, Belle Epoque and Funeral Diner. I don't listen to nearly as much screamo as I used to, but those are the bands I am always coming back to. zac
This used to be mainly all I listen to but I kind of stopped a while ago. I still like a lot of it though. Pretty much all the bands kurtz said are always backed. Saetia should get credit though, they kind of helped shape the whole genre. I've always been a huge Joshua Fit For Battle guy. Make sure you are listening to Belle Epoque from France. There is some shitty band from Texas with the same name.
saxamaphone
I saw a copy of Document #8 at my record store a few weeks ago. I thought about buying it but I didn't.

rtw88
Way too many bands to mention, but I'll just name a few of my favorite releases. Harriet the Spy - God Gave Us... Don Martin 3 LP/7"/Split are all amazing Orchid - S/T I Hate Myself - 4 Songs I'm also currently listening to the Logs demo, which is great. drabley
They're a bit more thrashy than most of the stuff on here, but Loma Prieta are fucking fantastic. Also, the Daitro / Sed Non Satatia split is a gem.
cosmonaut
Loma Prieta is great. I've been listening to a lot of the Dark Mountain LP lately.

drabley
Loma Prieta is great. I've been listening to a lot of the Dark Mountain LP lately. Great album. I've gotten off variants, so I have a Black, Clear, and Black Euro Tour of the Last City LP if you'd want to acquire one of them. Lemme know. I prefer Last City to Dark Mountain, personally. Also, Neil fucking Perry.

daniel
Loma Prieta's Last City is one of my favorite screamo records ever. I like Dark Mountain a lot but Last City is just incredible.
sgoodcore
I hate the word Scramz Me too. Horrible. But honestly, not a huge fan of Screamo either. I just call it all emo and make sure I delineate between hard(er)core stuff. Anyways though, love, love, love me some Hot Cross, Four Hundred Years, Swing Kids, et al

There was this band from Philly called 'The Now' and their jams were great. I think they had members in common with NP. Portraits of Past are always excellent too. The new EP slays.
