riddle350
When we say local are we talking about bands that aren't sign or are still small or bands that are form our area?

riddle350
They are kind of getting more noticed now but Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground are brilliant. They have anywhere from 3-20 people on stage during their shows. www.myspace.com/kaykayandhisweatheredunderground
kirbypuckett
d00000d, you guys gotta hear ANTIFLAG! SHIT IS SIQ!! There's no good bands in Pittsburgh. Endless Mike and the Beagle Club are my favorite, they're from Johnstown, but that's close enough.

One of my all time favorite live bands and they're local boys. Other than that I'm big into the Re-Volts: http://www.myspace.com/sfrevolts And of course, Dead to Me (but everyone knows and loves them). destroyingthescene
There's a few here in Vancouver I'm digging right now: White Lung - http://www.myspace.com/whitelungwhitelung Bison - http://www.myspace.com/bisoneastvan Both are effing awesome. White Lung play a low-fi garage-punk-rock. Very goof. Bison is killer heavy stoner metal. Fucking awesome live!

Guest scriptedrain
There's not much that excites me out here. There was one band, Stab Stab Cut Kill, that I saw open for Voxtrot a couple years ago, but it was their last show. The Blue Fairy Godmothers are close to my heart because they played on my radio show and seemed like awesome dudes. There's a lot of metal / hardcore crap here (like anywhere else, I'm sure), but nothing unique or extraordinary.
