Snaggle Von Swift
my grandmother is having a major surgery on Monday and lives in Florida. I really want to go down and be with her for it but cannot afford the $400+ flights at the moment since it's such last minute. I did find a cheap flight through airtran though, so i'm gonna book that.

Put $50 bucks as my starting offer in and it was accepted. Worked out alright for me.
scottheisel
My girlfriend's used Priceline for hotels and airfare numerous times -- she loves it. The danger with airfare is you put in your price, but you don't get to pick your flight times. So if they accept your offer, you have to fly when they say so. Could be 7am, could be 3pm, could be nonstop, could have a six-hour layover.

It's only like a 2 and half hour drive.

monk0nuggets
I've never checked out priceline before. How does it work? When you put in your offer and fill out all your billing information, then they try to find you a flight or at that point did they already accept your offer? dynamitekid
You put in the offer and your info and if they accept it, they book it right then. If not, you have to change the offer.
