Germany may still have gone on to win but the second half would have been a whole different contest. oh, i can see now why it wasn't allowed, good decision!!! Most of the people I spoke to today that were interested in the game had bets on that they would get beaten (surprisingly, England were still favourites to win the game according to many), and many of the pubs had Germany flags up outside.
