Guest Admin
We think that Paper and Plastick are doing some really interesting things in independent music and plan to do an interview with Vinnie Fiorello, owner of Paper Plastick. We figured that many of you are likely to think of way better questions than we could ever come up with. If you have a question that you would love to have Vinnie answer, just post a comment on either the blog post or the message board post. Thanks! While we are thinking about Vinnie and Paper and Plastick, let us know what your favorite P and P release is. It's hard for me to pick just one, but a few that I absolutely love are the latest releases from Riot Before, Cheap Girls, and of course the Seven Degrees of Stephen Egerton. mclz
I have 4 demos by Chris that he posted on MySpace a few years ago, are you ever gonna release some of Chris's solo stuff? I miss random, obscure LTJ releases, ever think about doing those again?
scotterson
What's Rob Huddleston up to? I know Ann Beretta and Foundation have written some new stuff...any chance of an AB release on P+P?
hookups96
1. Any chance of working with District Lines (pretty sure thats the webstore) and fixing shipping cost options? Definitely think that would help you personal sell more records than sending to distros. 2. Like stated above, I truly miss the random LTJ records, When I started collecting 10 years ago LTJ 7", 5", Cheese" and 12" were some of my favorite records that got me into the whole game of collecting. 3. What's with the random LTJ records I bougth from Interpunk a month ago, that keep changing shipping date daily? 4. Prize possession from your personal collection? 5. Record that you wished you had always pressed? 6. Odds of pressing the Destry?

hookups96
Sleep It Off records re released a bunch of the old LTJ albums on CD and changed the color of the art work, I would love to see some of these pressed by Sleep It Off/Paper+Plastic with the new artwork and album colors to match. Dillhole
Yes, we need more crazy, random LTJ releases. If not for Less Than Jake I would not be into vinyl at all. The instant Smoke Spot 7" and Mixology of Tom Collins 5" graced my presence it was a whole new ballgame, and I haven't looked back.

I love that album Haha weird I was listening to Bury Me Standing before I saw this thread and was thinking the same thing! It's soooo good, such a huge step up from Black Tape which was a little bit of a let down at points.

vardcore
What happened to the ponytail? Did it get caught in an escalator? If it survived, where is it now?
