This really isn't surprising considering how few people are familiar with the show after two seasons (I just discovered it a few weeks ago). I just heard about this show and then watched both seasons non stop episode after episode. I don't watch much TV and was surprised that Starz was even still a network. This is a serious bummer. Adam Scott signed on to become a regular on Parks and Rec etc etc. Another show in the vein of arrested development that got canned early and before it got sucky. sewbr0 Posted July 4, 2010 Share Posted July 4, 2010 season 2 was just as good as 1. and mullaly killed it. her character was so on point. she had some other shit going on that lynch didnt have, like that whole awkward divorced mom thing. that seems like a much harder role to play than what lynch had. kittenmittons Posted July 4, 2010 Share Posted July 4, 2010 I've never been a big fan of lynch really...but there is something about mullaly's character that just didn't seem to flow right with the rest of the cast. She did have some awesomely hilarious moments but the schtick got worn out to me about halfway through season 2. Maybe that's why season 1 was so much more appealing to me. The switch up to jennifer coolidge was perfect...I didn't get a chance to be annoyed by or tired of lynch's character. Plus I don't think I laughed harder at any single character's lines than coolidge. I can't even remember them all but I know a couple had me on the floor for sure.
