What 2010 albums have you loved?

A Plea For Purging

Ion Dissonance

Impending Doom

Maybe As I Lay Dying if they'd stop tossing their hardcore sound aside and

Jordan would get creative again and use less super metal double bass.

Also new album coming from The Contortionist that I already know will be playing

solid for a while once it drops.

Probably more, but I'm sleep deprived and can't think of anything else right now.

Another band I can't get into. At all. But I'll never say that too loudly on this board. For fear of losing my life haha.

say it as loud as you want. don't be scared.

I REALLY DISLIKE THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM. INFACT, THEY BORE ME TO TEARS.

There. I said it. Whew.

Stuff that has floored me in 2010...

Dillinger Escape Plan - Option Paralysis (can't believe it hasn't been mentioned)

Deftones - Diamond Eyes

Heartsounds - Until We Surrender (2009, but I didn't get into it until 2010)

I'll have to check the new rufio album out, I haven't listened to them since like 2003 or something like that

Oh man, and there's other stuff too, like the new Goodnight Loving and Personal and The Pizzas, and the new Screaming Females is coming out soon and that is sure to be good, oh and also Coliseum was real good, as was Eddy Current Suppression Ring and yeah, Ceremony should be up there too actually. Shit, also this local band called Holy Shit had an excellent album too. And the Melvins. Also Ratt came out of nowhere and made a bitchingly great album. Goddamn, this year has ruled so much.

Haven't been impressed with too much this year.

Night Birds 7"s are both great!

Warning//Warning - My World 7"

Walls - Tour 7"

The Bastard Noise - A Culture Of Monsters LP

Thou - Summit LP (and all the splits they released this year)

Drunkdriver - s/t LP

Slices - Cruising LP

New Arcade Fire is okay. A bit long for my taste though.
