keevhren
...signed to B9. New release this year, and being on B9, should definitely be released on wax. So stoked! B9 is going to have an amazing year

oakland
The last time I talked to those guys (it's been years) they pointed out that the band's sound had changed a lot because they were on the road so much. When they started it was all about their bros and NYC and all that. Makes sense, but the music got a little boring.
oakland
BTW, I have an extra copy of the first H2O if anyone wants it.
keevhren
i have faith that this will sound great. I doubt B9 would sign them knowing they would put out some crap lp... plus they have been home for a long while, a lot has changed in their lives, and I think this should be a great record. oakland
As far as going to a show and having a blast is concerned, H20 was awesome.
xjustinxschwierx
As far as going to a show and having a blast is concerned, H20 was awesome. yeah, seeing that band when they actually cared was the greatest thing ever. One of my absolute favorites ever, albums 1-3....i don't acknowledge anything that came later.

oakland
I saw them in Philly on tour for both the first and second record. It was great. They'd invite people on stage to dance and stage dive, to see who had the best moves. And when they came to Philly they all would wear Knicks Jerseys because the Stackhouse Crew was always there representin' in their Sixers gear. It was just a good time. No huge egos or tough guy bullshit, which was always an issue at Philly shows. As the hardcore kids used to say, it was like an old show. swank
Totally great live band, and I fully back their middle two albums, Thicker than Water and FTTW. They were both solid jams in their day.

Guest genericinsight
H2O is still awesome live. I don't care how many people consider them "dead", I'm stoked for the new record. GO wasn't even really a bad record, it had some good songs on there, it was just sub par in comparison to everything else they've done. In my mind, Thicker Than Water wasn't even that great. This is how I see it. its somewhat of a pattern with them, at least for me: first record awesome - second record ok - third record awesome - fourth record ok so if they keep with the pattern then the B9 release should be great, though I'm not sure what their songwriting skills are currently since they aren't as active as they used to be and they don't have a regular drummer at the moment. Hmm. We shall see.
