You liked Saves the Day but not Moneen? I like their music but Saves the Day is one of the most boring live bands I've ever seen. STD used to slay live. The only time I've seen them were with the second (good) lineup: Chris, Ted, Dave, Eben and Bryan. I wish upon this band what happened to poor Audio Karate when they tried to play Flagstaff. They booked one of the local venues, only to show up and find a yoga/dance class meeting straight through the time the show was scheduled for. So the band members and about a dozen people that had showed up stood outside and watched people do yoga for like 20 minutes before giving up and wandering off. It was hilarious, but sad. Tbs were on their line up change and still getting their feet wet...but still rocked the fuck out. Moneen....well. They kinda sound like std and tbs...or any other emo/melodic band out there....I felt(personal opinion) they were very underwhelming...they bring nothing new to the table, and put little effort into their perfomance due to what ever reason they feel they neednt impress me. But shit son, if your opening for a band like std...you best bring your a game....and they didn't. I have seen them a 2nd time with alexisonfire...and once again...I'd rather sit @ home and listen to this conversation is ending by knapsack.
