Please correct me if I'm wrong or if I've missed some details but here are a few more recent examples: Alive-Black Keys (mentioned by apirk above-"...100 copies of this extremely LTD edition LP..."...later revealed to be an edition of 2000!) No Idea-Ampere "...order in the next 15 minutes..." (deal was available for a month or so. tongue-in-cheek joke? not funny.) Omar A Rodriguez-Telesterion (350 "for record store day/to indie stores", but they failed to mention that about 1500 were available in total) Perhaps we should start a thread and people can add on to this?
