somethingvinyl
Don't feel like driving 80 miles just to get strange looks for singing along. I jest, I wouldn't sing at a house show.
bgdesign
The show in MI is close to me and on a saturday, too bad it's on St. Patricks day. Would rather hit the bars.

birdwell
bummer, no BHam dates this time around, i've caught 2 of his last 3 living room shows here and they were both different and both great...same house all 3 times as well. Anybody been to multiple house shows in the same city? does he normally book the same houses?
smailtronic
Don't feel like driving 80 miles just to get strange looks for singing along. I jest, I wouldn't sing at a house show. Maybe if last year's show in New Orleans had sold a little more quickly, he'd have come back on this go-round does he normally book the same houses? Depends. It's up to the house/venue owners to "apply" to host a show. I'm sure he gives preference to previous sites, especially if things went well. The Baton Rouge date is at the same place as the one last year. It's a nice little upper apartment in downtown that hosts local and touring folk/acoustic shows. It's kind of nutty to think that in under a year, BR will have seen Bazan three times, Chris Staples twice, and Austin Lucas twice.
somethingvinyl
Dude, it sold out by the day of the show, haha. Matter of fact, I was trying to find someone to go with and only one ticket was available for a week. Guys on dot org said that the club shows in Baton Rogue had three times the crowd than we did here. Makes sense. How many students does LSU have? 22K? If you combine Tulane, Xaiver, Loyola, UNO, SUNO, OLOHC, Notre Dame seminary and the Baptist Seminary, then you might have that many.
