collectivemike
Is it me or does it seem like there are a ton more splits being found by members on here compared to the first press?
toxicity
Is it me or does it seem like there are a ton more splits being found by members on here compared to the first press? Based on this and the number of split swirl copies from the previous press that have popped up on eBay, I can't help but feel there's way more than 50 copies of each out there. It's because the first /50 was not obvious.. I have a feeling a lot of those brownish clear ones people were calling clear were actually meant to be the mix but ended up not being obvious

drummerboy032
I thought the number of splits from 1st press "found" was quite low.. I could be wrong though. Thats what I was basing my previous comment on
andrewlucas
I saw a listing on eBay for a mix color from the first batch and he had 2 copies in the picture. One was a completely clear with white swirl and the other was the sort of tan color that we were wondering if it was a swirl or not. Anyway, what's up with that? Did anyone else get a copy of the clear and white that wasn't sort of tan?
blanchardoswald
I remember that. The other copy he had was of a different record i think. It really irked me

I saved the picture on my phone. It says Dustin kensrue on the label. I can't post the pic because the boards app sucks.
zacooper
All 3 of the clear copies that I got were a little tan when held against any color background (including the white sleeves). That said, I got a copy of the swirl and it is almost entirely brown with a few whisps of white scattered around it. You can definitely tell the difference between a swirl and a brown. And I didn't see pics of any swirls from the 1st press that even resembled a clear with just a little brown. I'm pretty sure they all came out primarily brown with some white/clear in them. affadavit
I've got a second split colour so if anyone is looking for a split cola brown/sky blue and can trade me for their regular cola brown, PM me. Just looking at getting the variant I don't have.
