Only fault so far is that if you skate backwards past the blue line going into the offensive zone no computer controlled player hits you. mcm1610 Posted August 22, 2012 Share Posted August 22, 2012 Playing a little bit, my thoughts (keeping in mind I skipped NHL12 for money reasons, so some of this may not be new): -goalie animations and movements are beautiful. -Player recoveries after checks are much more realistic -skating feels nice -great physics for hitting and even body contact. I knocked someone down by driving through them while we battled toward a loose puck. -Lots of neat little details - net cameras that are visible, photographer flashes going off down low, a defenseman of mine ducked a head-hunting shot from the point. NHL12 had broken sticks, right? I haven't encountered that yet. They also added the ability to run a goalie? I didn't see that yet either.
