apirk
Looking forward to getting this. I really don't expect it to be The Monitor I am just hoping it is a good record. Hell if I compared every record that came out to The Monitor I would think most of them suck.
shamrocks
am i the only one that likes Airing of Grievances more than The Monitor?
kyacrash
am i the only one that likes Airing of Grievances more than The Monitor? Airing of Grievances is really good, but in my opinion The Monitor is far superior. And I spun Local Business for the first time tonight. It's not bad, but hardly even comparable to either previous release. I dig it, I just almost wish it was by some other artist.
kylekrische
Every single one of these videos sound better than their actual record. http://pitchfork.com/news/48214-watch-titus-andronicus-perform-local-business-songs-at-four-local-businesses-in-brooklyn/ qwrm38

habbazoot
am i the only one that likes Airing of Grievances more than The Monitor? I think, album-wise, The Monitor is much better. It's just so well put together. But as for individual tracks/what I listen to the most The Airing of Grievances wins by far.
gutzonborglum
I've been listening to this a lot at work the last few days, and am really, really enjoying it. Listening to it with no attachment/comparison to The Monitor, I love it. Just a good rock and roll record. Reminds me of Nude Beach. Pitchfork posted some videos of these guys performing songs off of 'Local Business' in...wait for it...local businesses!
jetsfan4ever80
So are there still people waiting for their copy? On XLs website it still says my order is processing. I was right on top of it the moment it went up too.
bfresh
I am and my order still says processing. Just sent them an email for an ETA.

degenerex
I ordered mine on September 18th, and then the next day told a couple friends to order. They got their this past Tuesday, and mine still says processing.
Shelby
Does anyone know why these are shipping from Matador? That's probably why there's such a difference between those getting theirs and not getting theirs. Got mine 4 days ago. This record really clicked for me today and I ended up listening to it about 10 times. To me the long songs (Ecce, Eating Disorder, In A Small Body, Tried to Quit Smoking) are better than anything they've previously done while the shorter songs do a good enough job tying them together. Goddamn Eating Disorder is such a great track.

Derag001
For anyone sad that this record was so straightforward, if you havent heard their next album is a double album rock opera haha.
