sharkticon
Am I following this correctly?: 30 Euro to buy a single LP of Bonus tracks with an empty slot for the regular edition which you have to buy separately? I love this record, but fuck this.
blanchardoswald
I seriously fear shit like this becoming the norm.
lexicondevil
You can also save a little money and buy the empty variant jacket for 29.95 euro? What a deal! Hope this cool trend spreads. The Sex Pistols should reissue Great Rock N Roll Swindle with a variant cover and a smashed record inside. People would probably still buy it. andrewlucas
$58.30 total for deluxe box set. It only lets you choose GBP if you want it shipped to the U.S. Euros are the cheaper route.
Zick
I wonder if this box set tastes like Pepsi Cola
mmhmm
Watched her perform on the iTunes Festival thingy and couldn't keep it on. Awkward stage presence and her singing sounded like what you'd hear from a contest auditioning on American Idol. themightychew

Awkward stage presence and her singing sounded like what you'd hear from a contest auditioning on American Idol. it was bad. she doesn't even play the good songs live. they're always so mehh
dreamover
and i'm definitely not paying $50 for a gatefold jacket and an EP. i guess they have to make money off her albums since she sucks so bad live.
andrewlucas
Ugh! I hate when you type something long and there's an error so you lose it all. Anyway... The order button has been fixed on the 13" version, the blue velvet 7" pic disc is only available in the deluxe set, and they didn't answer my question about wether or not it will be available on amazon or in the U.S.

dreamover
i'm pretty sure the deluxe edition with the 7" is exclusive to her UK store, though there might be a separate release in the US on vinyl, though i doubt it. i expect just 2CD and digital in america since Interscope sucks. andrewlucas
Well they didn't release the double lp here so I doubt they will release the extra songs here. I'm just gonna order anyway. Fuck it. If something cheaper pops up ill just cancel.

mmhmm
Knock it off smart ass. 12" Hah, I wasn't being a smart ass. Call me an idiot but it made me curious because it didn't seem like a blatant typo in your post. Then I remembered that extra inch would cause major problems... andrewlucas
yeah, the album's not that good. It's definitely not the most I've spent for a bundle. But it should only have cost $60 for the two.
markok
A question, guys. Just got myself the Born To Die 2LP (the european pressing, with bonus tracks). Dont know if the US or European pressing differ. My copy seems to have a lot of hairlines (those tiny little scratches when the records have probably rubbed against each other while in factory) but it doesnt affect the playback. Instead, there is a lot of sibilance on side A ("Video Games" mostly). Is it just me (bad luck with the hairlines and bad cartridge alignment during the inner grooves)? markok
Apparently this Paradise Edition is getting released only as "Paradise" without the slipcase (only the record) and the price is lower. And its available at amazon.ca and amazon.com
sharkticon
Didn't see it on Amazon. Can you post a link?
