Good point. I no longer like Relient K. Give me a break. I'm not a super fan or anything, but their music is good. If any bands fans need to calm down, it's Bra d New fans. There's a 14 page thread about a song that is god awful, all because people are getting boners that it is somehow possibly related to Brand New. Going on treasure hunts and shit. "this is a really obscure song, and you're pretty cool if you know it", and then they played toto - africa. a song that still gets played on the radio regularly. and that cover was by far the most tolerable part of their set. You say he's the best lyricist in the time of music we live in now? I could point you in a hundred different directions of lyricists who are better. I love Relient K, but I have no illusions that they're one of the best bands or have the best lyricists. I also see what Ry is saying about his voice. But I still like them. Mhmm was a great album.
