I was able to take the 15th and 16th ranked players (in my books) in my first two picks (rounds 3 and 4). My team on draft day looked very different to my team on the final day. I don't think it means that you won't be competitive...to be honest, I think you might have more of a chance because you can draft your first four players more strategically without having to worry about what 10 other people are going to do. I mean, I had Rask, Varlamov, and Bishop. I took Varlamov in the last round because during the draft someone wrote something along the lines of, "I dare someone to take Varlamov". Hahaha. Also Okposo was a huge steal. I remember seeing that roster and thinking how the fuck did you not win. Is it unlimited waver wire moves? Most members are keeping either 3 or 4 players, maybe 1 or 2 are not, so the 2 new teams are basically getting the first 6 or so pucks before anyone else.
