thetruthaboutheaven21
Not a huge fan of these guys but I did see them on a few tours years back and to this very day, they were one of the most energetic/best live band I have ever seen this makes me much more excited to see them i hate when bands are great on record then suck completely live. chutterhanban
Unfortunately for Story of the Year, my first listen was that terrible red and black album with the bird on it that I dismissed right after buying it. Eek.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
They were one of my favorite bands as a kid not sure what all the hate is about Super generic band would be my guess.

yocaseycasey
I'm hoping for a pressing as well. As much as I like Page Avenue, In The Wake Of Determination was my obsession. "Is This My Fate?", He Asked Them is one of my all time favorite songs. THIS A MILLION TIMES. Seriously, most people hear the name "Story of the Year" and just remember spiked hair and guitar throwing, but the truth of the matter is everytime I hear the name "Story of the Year" I just think of how the second verse of "Is This My Fate?" kicks in. rawker31

yocaseycasey
Listen to that link through the chorus, and tell me that second verse isn't metal as hell.

stl_ben
OK. 1. Why a reunion tour with no home town show yet! Come on! 2. Please finally press the original to vinyl. 3. They are amazing live, was at the original record release concert for this album and both nights of the DVD recordings ....such great memories. (I would say the only St Louis band that puts on a better live show is LUDO. [sorry Dan])
rickyfuller
I do enjoy the live show. Also looks like they are headlining the say(or is it scream?) it like you mean it tour with Hawthorne Heights. Won't be going.

soundofsulfur
Never was a big fan, but happened to see them at a show and was surprised by how good they sounded live.

(I would say the only St Louis band that puts on a better live show is LUDO. [sorry Dan]) I spoke to them about earlier in the year & they told me that they plan to re-record the album and release it on vinyl. Basically warner bros owns the rights to those "recordings" so they are going to re-record the songs on their own dime and see how it does. Interesting move but likely wont succeed unless they get really high quality recordings. The original was done by John Feldman and sounded great, in that john feldman production kinda way
