aviolentworld
just curious my buddy keeps the opening of the inner sleeve on the same side as the opening of the lp jacket. that seemed weird to me. i always keep the opening of the inner sleeve towards the top of the lp when i slip it in. whats the preference for this? is there a better way to put the record in the lp jacket? he also kept the poly sleeve opening on the same side as the lp's. easy access for him i guess. couldnt this cause the record to shift more? ronniethebear
If you keep them in sleeves, with the paper sleeve + record behind the jacket, not only does it make taking the record out easier, but it also prevents ringwear on the jacket. Problem solved.

Problem solved. never thought about keeping the record out of the lp jacket. interesting. i know if the record comes with a picture/lyric inner sleeve i usually replace it (to prevent tearing) with another one and keep everything in the jacket. daniel
I chose to buy the resealable sleeves when I recently bought my first batch. I guess the extra protection is nice but it's already annoying. Just another layer to undo before I get to the good stuff.

daniel
It was an epic fail though. Kind of a joke within my friends. I have Richard Simmons hair to the max, but black, thicker, and not as homosexual.
