blanchardoswald
Yada yada too old... Anyone else play pokemon and are going to pick these up? I remember my mom taking my brother and I to Toys R Us to go get Red and Blue when they first came out. I bought silver when it came out but stopped playing after that because I was afraid of the ridicule in middle school. After platinum came out I bought a DS and decided to try it again and have played everything since (and caught up on what I missed). I'm so stoked for the new games. Anyone else? You need a 3DS to play these bad boys. U say buy a cheap DS then play platinum, soulsilver, and black/white2
tml-7
I haven't for the past couple years been into pokemon as much until recently. A Friend has be hyping these games non stop for weeks and constantly been trying to get me to play with him to prepare. I finally gave in and started to play again in order to get him to shut up and now I'm addicted like I was when I was five.

I've been going back through every game and catching all the legendaries then transferring them to Black 2. If anyone is missing a pokemon or an event and wants one, get at me
littlebistro
If this was on gameboy color I'd get into it.

blanchardoswald
For X and Y they're launching cloud storage for your pokemon, so your boxes are online if you so choose. Mnolan15
Shelby
In for X. Does 3DS have an Action Replay equivalent yet? Online is impossible on the DS games because of the AR perfect IV/EV stat douche bags.
blanchardoswald
There's no AR that works on 3DS games yet, just one that works on ds games on the 3ds Shelby

SweetJerryWine
I specifically bought a 3DS a month or so ago in anticipation of these. Gonna have to book some time off work.
Aych
I have Y pre-ordered. Beyond excited for this. I might actually be more psyched for X & Y than I was for Black and White, and that's saying something.
zacaroo21
If the gameplay and story are anywhere near white and black I'll be happy. I really enjoyed not knowing any of the pokes during my play through and not just playing with what I know.
turnstiles
For X and Y they're launching cloud storage for your pokemon, so your boxes are online if you so choose. So you no longer have to use the computer in the Pokemon center?
fitterhappier
I want to get it, but I won't get anything done if I get it
zacaroo21
So you no longer have to use the computer in the Pokemon center? You'll still use boxes the same as any other Pokemon game, what Blanchard mentioned is a 3ds app that can be used to backup your x&y pokes and mass transfer from black&white. It will also be a paid service.
