mcpherson123 Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 Yeah, I wonder if it will be "Grimace purple" or a darker translucent purple. There's a verse in "Baby Bird" that's incredibly intense vocally and reminds me of the better aggressive vocal offerings from Chad of Mudvayne. I didn't really dig anything after the second album from them but his vocals are some of the most awesome in heavy music. There's just this tone in his voice that lends some soul to the aggression and I feel like Christian has captured a very similar vocal tonality that adds so much to that track and I think it comes up a little bit on Ruiner as well.
