mattramone
Who else has been completely underwhelmed by the baseball season this year so far?
jhulud
I've been watching some of the Red Sox games and have been finding myself getting bored at times.

benchwarmer
yea, I'm kinda "meh" about it so far. it's been a weird start. I'm sure it will pick up soon.
martyk36
I was lovin' it until my reds got swept by the freakin' PIRATES. oh well.
cosmonaut
Who else has been completely underwhelmed by the baseball season this year so far? I'm underwhelmed by MLB every year.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
yea, I'm kinda "meh" about it so far. it's been a weird start. I'm sure it will pick up soon. know why? ESPN hasn't had ANYHTING to talk about. A-rod has been luke warm, the Tigers who they predicted to score 12509125721 runs this season have won 3 games, no one they were hyping up all off season has lived up to the expectations built up. look whose in first, the cardinals, arizona, KANSAS CITY?!?> FLORIDA?!@%! BALTIMORE!#^@$#$%&$ I mean none of those teams have NAMES on their roster and they're currently after 2 weeks leading their divisions. that all will change in the coming weeks without a doubt, but thats why MLB has been tame on the web, TV, radio, newspaper. no one cares about anyone but the big money teams. devilstrombone
I pretty much love baseball no matter what even though the Mariners are losing almost every game, but what else is new, but the A's are doing good and that makes me happy. goraiders
A's best record in the AL! Too bad Harden is hurt already.

Guest baseball
Actually, as a Baltimore resident, I'm enjoying the season so far.
sgoodcore
I'm getting to the point where until the DH is either abolished or accepted in to the NL game baseball is going to be completely lopsided in favor of the AL, making me, a Dodger fan, completely uninterested. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
yeah, not really a fan of the DH
kurtz
I don't get into baseball season until the NBA season is over.
sgoodcore
yeah, not really a fan of the DH I totally hate it but someone made a good point, I think it was Kruk, that the AL can play national league ball much easier than the NL can play american league ball. Until that point is rectified I just can't take baseball seriously. Maybe its cause my Dodgers aren't a great hitting as is so going against a team like the Yankees is ludicrous. Not sure but I still think the DH is the elephant in the room of the MLB that needs to be addressed.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
the AL is always known for batting, the NL is always known for pitching. NL pitchers going to AL usually flop, AL pitchers going to NL usually succeed
sgoodcore
The AL is known for hitting because, in my opinion, they have an extra hitter every game. That's usually an extra hit, or more, a game, which means more runners and more runs. Just my take.
benchwarmer
also, for me, the sox starting off the season in Japan really threw me off. I was like "wait, it's 6am and I'm watching a baseball game?" Also, Baltimore in 1st place is awesome.
flood
ive been pretty psyched... despite the yankees not being able to hit if its colder than 60 degrees.
andrew13
i have had low expectations, and the pirates have underwelmed even those. yet, they're 7-6 somehow. they can't field a ground ball to save their lives, and the other teams have somehow managed to be worse. mattramone
I'm a Nationals fan, which is like having a junkie for a best friend. You want to believe them when they rehab in the off season, and they come out talking a good game, but you know they'll be back to slumming in no time. mediocore
As a Cards fan, the start of the season has been a welcomed surprise. Now if they'd only call-up Rasmus, I'd be even more stoked.

tattoosdonthurt
It's been interesting if you are a braves fan. Fucking mike hampton. Injured again. It's like dude, over the last 2 and half years, he has been the highest paid brave. 15 million each year. fucking shite. But it's alright, I think the braves have a very strong lineup.
