Well they have record fairs but for the most part they are clogged with 50-60 year old dudes trying to pawn off their Dolly Parton lp's that have been stuffed in dusty cardboard boxes for years. It's fun to go dig, but you hardly ever leave with something you came there to look for.

Woah, what's the story behind this? I've never heard of it.

it was released in spain. i think they usually have it available at shows. it's got a remix, an instrumental, and a cover of mighty joe moon on it. alltogether, i think it's kind of eh. have you heard the magician ep? it was released in japan, not on vinyl, but is by far their best overall release. i cannot wait to hear what the new full-length is gonna sound like.

A friend of mine went to the WFMU one and said it was amazing. He specifically mentioned a retired cop from Yonkers who had hundreds of extremely rare punk records for dirt cheap.

There was a fair in Chicago that coincided with Pitchfork festival, which I attended one day. Too bad I didn't know about it! I'm going to have to keep my eye out for it next year, and hopefully they do it during Lollapalooza, because I'm trying to go all 3 days next year.
