scottheisel
How can you tell the pressings apart on that Social D record? Were all future pressings on Time Bomb?
manicdogbert
How can you tell the pressings apart on that Social D record? Were all future pressings on Time Bomb? all the current pressings are on Time Bomb but there were different pressings before that -- 13th Floor, Triple X Records, possibly another label as well. there are also sleeve variations. i think one of the 13th Floor pressings (possibly the first) had a gatefold like the Time Bomb but then the Triple X version didn't. monstercody
13th Floor did a gatefold sleeve for the first press. That is the dead giveaway. They repressed with a normal sleeve next. In 1989 XXX Records out of LA repressed it. That version is almost as rare as the original. Everything subsequent (picture discs, etc) are on the label you mentioned. Mine's a gatefold and I always just assumed it was on Time Bomb, but I'll check it tonight to make sure.
