  1. For sale is a green Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable with a slew of extras to get you started: - Speed Box S for the ability to switch 33/45RPM speeds with the push of a button. Without it, you need to remove the platter and move the belt to switch speeds. Mint condition in original box with all original cables needed for operation. - Herbie's Audio Lab Way Excellent II mat (huge sonic improvement over the standard felt mats that come with these) - BBE Phono Preamp w/ power supply The turntable itself is in excellent shape. A few light scratches on the dust cover, but otherwise looking great. The Ortofon 2M Red cartridge does have some hours on it, and is likely due for a replacement stylus sometime in the near future. $350 for the bundle, and for now am looking to keep this to a local sale. I live in Brooklyn. Turntables aren't so fun to ship.
  2. PO: Alkaline Trio - Past Live albums

Completely agree. They matured nicely, became a great band. I'm one of the extremely small minority that loves My Shame. Great to have them work at the Blasting Room with Bill Stevenson.
  3. Thanks! Just trying to move it along to someone who will enjoy. Not doing any good sitting on my shelf! The green does look awesome.
  4. PO: Alkaline Trio - Past Live albums

Totally. I'm thinking of grabbing the Blu Rays, and just a couple of my favorites. I prefer the later catalog as well! Also, that was my 69th post. Just wanted to point that out.
  5. PO: Alkaline Trio - Past Live albums

Kings Road has gottten very quiet about pressing numbers lately. Wonder if this'll be one of those types of things where the number of preorders dictates the number pressed.
  6. PO Now: The Bronx - V

Also, wow. Spinning III for the first time. Sounds spectacular on vinyl. So much better than the digital master. Really nice job on this one.
  7. PO Now: The Bronx - V

I and II are literally identical to the original pressings, sans White Drugs logos on back and dated 2017. Haven't compared matrices yet to see if they're the same stampers or not. Will report back.
  8. Seems like they ship in order of complaints! Finally received. Finally. It was shipped in one of those cheap white mailers with no cardboard insert, FIRST CLASS (guess that’s why shipping was $6.50 or whatever?). Thankfully no damage.
  9. Well guys n gals, been a long journey.... Ordered June 26th Pre Shipment entered December 12th Went out January 5th, expected delivery tomorrow. Not saying anything until this thing is spinning on the turntable, but it appears SOMETHING is on the way!
  10. I asked if I could change the shipping address on my order - got a reply over a week later saying that if I did and it got lost in the mail, they couldn’t do anything about it :\ Still able to get to my original shipping address, a bit inconvenient, but not terrible certainly. I replied and asked if I could get a tracking number so I’d know when to head over there and get it - no reply.
  11. PO now: Quicksand "interiors" out Nov 10th

Because he's a great producer. And this record is quite good. Really exceeded my expectations. Also trying to figure out which variant to get now that copies are surfacing. Kings Road/Epitaph has been doing a TON of variants as of late, most /500.
  12. Very, very excited for this. Went with the clear/blue variant. Think that has the potential to look pretty cool. Only slightly off topic, I'm in the market for a Bronx II if anyone is selling.
  13. Interesting. I have the same pressing, and I thought it overall sounded outstanding, especially compared to the old master. I do have a little bit of groove distortion on the last track of side A, but that's an issue I find with a number of louder records.
  14. Shoot me a message, thanks! Mods, please let me know if this is in the wrong forum.
  15. PO - Rancid - Trouble Maker - June 9th

Violet is the US indie exclusive, baby blue is the EU.
  16. PO - Rancid - Trouble Maker - June 9th

The US indie exclusive is 1000, as every other variant has been this far. Probably a decent guess! So far no super rare variant.
  17. It's hard to say, because oftentimes you can't A/B a 180 gram to say a 140, as you could in this case if you wanted to. Of course the color of the vinyl will also affect its sound, and it really comes down to who's mastering, but at the very least, 180 will provide the potential for a better stamp. You're right though, it's not as though lighter vinyl is "inferior."
  18. The US Black and U.K. Clear are 180 gram. US White and Clear are not.
  19. From what I know: Coke Bottle Clear /2000 (Kings Road US) Yellow Translucent /1000 (US indie stores) Green translucent /300 (Kings Road EU) Gray /?? (EU/worldwide indie stores) And there's also a Black /??
  20. For sale are two Beach Slang 7"s: Who Would Ever Want Anything So Broken? Predates first press listed on Discogs. Black vinyl, hand numbered 22/108, sold only at the band's weekend of record release shows. Screen printed jacket. All original inserts - Dead Broke release flyer, etc. I've looked, but haven't found another one of these for sale anywhere. Cheap Thrills On A Dead End Street Fest exclusive press, black vinyl with blank white labels, test press style. Four different colored inserts. Get in touch to discuss. Thanks!
  21. FS: Beach Slang, both 7"s. Original and Fest presses.

    All gone, thanks guys!
  22. Please delete (old FS post)

  23. Dave Hause- Devour

Waited a while to grab this on vinyl. Finally pulled the trigger on an orange copy as they had one at Amoeba in Hollywood. Sounds great. Someone mentioned they thought it wasn't mastered for vinyl - it certainly is, breathes a lot more than the digital master.
  24. Leatherface - Mush (gray/black swirl, 2012 press not on label) Most Precious Blood - Our Lady Of Annihilation (blue/white swirl) Whirlwind Heat - Do Rabbits Wonder? Open to offers. Thanks!
