  1. I have this on Blue, I could use the money but it'd take a really good offer for me to let it go
  2. are you still interested in my white discovering the waterfront? At some point our email conversation just ended.
  3. I agree with a lot already posted, as well as: Loma Prieta/Raein - split Full of Hell - Rudiments of Mutilation Iron Chic - Spooky Action Culo - My Life Sucks and I Could Care Less
  4. i have discovering the waterfront, but it has a bit of a seam split (as does every record I've ever received from victory).
  5. I have the rec release, I don't really want to get rid of it but it if you want to send an offer I might let it go
  6. picked one of these up, since I realized that I don't own any polyvinyl 7"s
  7. good luck with your search, I've also been looking for this for a while.
  8. This is pretty much what I do except I don't delete them immediately. I keep them around for a while if I think it's something that could grow on me. I figure all this is doing is giving the artist another possible buyer later on, where I wouldn't have been one initially anyway
  9. got a pink. I can't wait to hear the new song when I get out of class. I like EOTWN, but it was my least favorite material, so I hope this one is better.
  10. This whole article really pissed me off. I never thought I'd be on PETA's side because I can't stand them, but the author proves himself to not have a clue what he is talking about. I was surprised to see PETA euthanizes animals, but that was more because I didn't know that they took abandoned animals in the first place. Animal rights is an incredibly complex topic, and to reduce it to - you killed animals so you don't care about them or their rights - makes it apparent that no one should believe anything you say on the topic. this point bothered me a lot in particular: How would you rather them do it? carbon dioxide? freezing? pithing? exsanguination? letting them starve to death?
  11. I'll see what I can do, is there somewhere that I could get a cheap tube?
  12. I'm excited for that rec release show, I'll just wait to pick up my copy there.
  13. Last night's episode was ok, I agree that the whole mother/son attraction thing comes off way too heavy handed. I don't know why, but after last night I'm less excited about the series than I was after the pilot.
  14. I've got an extra will call ticket because my friend can't come anymore. I just want to get the cost of the ticket back, so if anyone wants it let me know.
  15. I've had really bad ear infections my whole life, and unfortunately there isn't much else you can do for the pain. One time my ear drum only half ruptured and filled with pus and blood, I had to go to the emergency room and have it vacuumed out. That hurt so much more than shattering my ankle.
  16. is there going to be a rec release variant, or are they just going to have the common variant at the show like the amnesia release show?
  17. I absolutely agree, and I don't take it personally at all. The reason I don't want to work with clients/private practice is because I know that the cost of good health care (medical or vet) is so incredibly high. And I don;t think it is unfair for people not to want to pay the same for their dog as they do for their mother or whatever. But unfortunately, everything is so expensive: the drugs, the instruments, etc. I think many people with insurance are shielded from that a bit due to insurance. They don't understand how much money it actually costs to run a blood test, and then get angry when they see the bill. It's not their fault, but its just frustrating all the way around since there's no real way to fix it.
  18. Yea the problem is just saying I went Penn really doesn't mean much outside of undergrad (unless you're a horse person I guess). And you mentioned MD's, its hard because no one wants to pay a vet the same. I mean, I totally understand it, but I don't know how schools can keep raising tuition knowing that.
  19. Yea I saw this article, its pretty depressing. Even with my scholarship I pay way too much for Penn. Doing wildlife/exotics (not including pets) pays about the same as shelter medicine, if not less most of the time, which is pretty hard to imagine. It's all fun now, but leaving here with close to 300k is debt is already enough to make me hate my life.
