my puppy is a cry baby and it freaked me out last night. We were working on some new behaviors and she jumped and landed funny on her back leg. I wasn't too worried until she started screaming for a good 2 minutes. I sat with her seeing if she broke anything, then 5 minutes later she up chasing the cat.

I've been spinning beartrap's "sleep eradication" like crazy lately

- work was miserable this morning + get out of class at noon - have to study all day so can't enjoy getting out early - tired from studying too much the last 2 weeks + finalized my externship in South Africa for this summer - have no idea how I'm going to have enough money to live in Durban for 6 weeks

sounds like you took him to the vet, which good and hopefully the reason he snapped was a pain response and not an aggression thing. As far as being aggressive/protective around other people, have you tried having people over just to sit there and ignore him? I've had classmates with aggressive foster dogs, and people just go over there to sit and study.
