they already cancelled 2 of 3 items i ordered cause of lack of stock lol
Exact same here. At this point the 1 of 3 left is the main one i wanted and i likely would have still ordered it by itself, but it's still a bit annoying.

My order from Midtown arrived and holy shit did it do something to piss off a postal worker 😭
The package actually has a tear that goes all the way into a few pages of the comic itself. I’m guessing it got run over or caught in a sorter? YAY

Are these shipping?
Just the gold ones. Silver isn’t ready yet.
I haven’t had a chance to spin mine yet, but the packaging itself (thin single sleeve) is super disappointing for how much these were.

and i'll reiterate from earlier--it doesn't come in a jacket, it comes in a printed inner sleeve lol
😂 I missed that earlier post. Damn.

It did. Japan isn’t in yet
Okay, that’s relieving to hear, thanks!

I got a shipping notice on my Viper Room (gold) - unless I missed it did that somehow hopscotch the live in Japan one?

Watched that Vietnamese horror movie The Guardian that just recently popped up on Netflix. It was pretty disappointing - couple positives are that it looks great and that V-pop in it is really good; around the midpoint it feels like it’s ramping up into a really fun batshit mindset but it it quickly goes downhill and settles into mundanity and mediocrity. Definitely way too long at 2+ hours and not worth the runtime.

Not really horror-related but holy fuck this looks so good. About damn time this is coming out. Feel like we’ve been waiting forever:
Yep, excited for sure. +Sjon (co-writer on this) was also co-writer on Lamb (in addition to numerous novels) so that's another horror-related tie.

I watched Antlers last night and it was fine I suppose. It mostly held my attention, but it never really felt satisfying and I think I just wanted more out of it. I'd say it's a B-/C+ or a 2-3 beer movie. It does have a pretty fun final act though.
Aren’t all movies 2-3 beer movies?

Finally got around to checking out Sator after it being on my to-watch list for a number of months. I really enjoyed it - not sure if any of y'all read horror in addition to watching it, but it reminded me of Laird Barron's early short fiction (either of the first two NSB collections) - grimy inexplicable backwoods weird fiction.

Bought with a quickness. Hope a tour is forthcoming (and coming close to me); when I saw them in Austin back in 2018 they were absolutely amazing and the best show I saw that year.

I had to skip back in a part because I thought I had full on missed a scene or two somehow, haha. Overall, I really liked it, but there does seems to be a gap in the story telling.
Huh, I don’t remember noting that when I watched it.
I liked it as well, I thought it was a great follow up to the first.

I picked up the wooden box version of The New Blockaders + that Hijokaidan (from Soundohm a couple weeks ago). Urashima continues to put out amazing archival releases.

Hell yeah. I liked how the STS splatter looked but give me them solid colors any day. Glad I held out. Also glad I never got around to grabbing B-sides or Farewell. Gonna make getting this that much more worth it.I think I like the splatter more but I’ll probably pick up this one as well and just decide in person. And yeah, I only have the 2LP base soundtrack so very much looking forward to this set. I played through the game with my kids during the first few weeks of quarantine last March so it’s a family favorite for sure.

Yeah, i'd ordered probably close to a full day before it was posted here - and it had already been going on for a couple hours at that point based on when i received the email from RT.
