What a progression.
Youth : Deja :: Heaven : Daisy

All Shook Down - ick
Seriously? I mean to each their own, but I that's got some great stuff on it.
-
Anybody know why they want an address when downloading the song?
They're going to mail out a physical copy of the mp3 in 10 years.
-
When did Chuck Ragan start writing and singing for Coliseum?
-
-
So glad to finally have this part of my collection.
Despite all the bullshit in this order process, this is all that really needs to be said.
-
I dig supporting NYC punk, but are all this band's songs just Misfits songs with different lyrics?
-
Iron Chic has yet to release a song I don't like. Can't say that about many bands. This is a real solid split.
-
-
Clearly nobody here is punk and no one gets it.
Nitro has gone retro and is giving fans that treasured experience of ordering merch from those insert catalogs that came with their CDs in the 90s. You send your money and then who the hell knows after that?? Any true punk is glad to have this system back in place.
-
Jeez, people went all One Direction on that 7". I added some more. But c'mon, there's other great records too!
Yeah, sucks when people buy a record you put out and are selling.
-
Loved the EP and LP, but really not digging the new sound on either of those songs. Bummer, I've been looking forward to these guys putting something else out. I'll wait to hear the rest of it though.
-
Thanks warhen for highlighting ELSE.....like I said he isn't upset. Just confused/nutty..
He didn't say he was confused. He said he was nutty. Which I think is actually worse than upset.
"They're selling more recooooords! I am insaaaaaane!"
-
Yeah, they switched my delivery dates too, but that ended on oct. 27th.
I don't get why anybody would order anything from these guys when the last 5 or so albums they previously released in May STILL arent available.
Apparently I'm a ridiculous exception to the rule, but I ordered Black Sails when it went up and got it shortly after with no problems. Surely I'm not the only one...?
I also dealt with MyPlay for the recent Gaslight preorder and got that one quickly after the ship notice. Bummer that there are all these horror stories though. Nitro clearly has some pretty big kinks to work out.

This album is still awesome and both the splatter and the pic disc arrived in perfect shape.
That said, I'm really bummed to hear about those who ended up with shitty copies through the mail and the lack of response from Infinite Merch to rectify the problems. For a band that very clearly cares about its fan base, it's bewildering that they stick with a merch company that screws the fans over every chance it gets. I'm curious where the miscommunication lies.
-
Didn't register first, that was the problem. Seriously an awesome code, thanks so much. Been holding out on this set for awhile. Cannot beat $52 shipped. Thanks again!
-
Must be confused or something. Does this code work for everything? Keeps telling me Dustin2014 isn't valid. Trying to order Love Is Hell, so maybe it doesn't work for that? Thanks in advance.

Man, forget 18 Tracks. The whole Tracks set needs a vinyl treatment. Minus some of the 4th disc, that box is gold.
Also, gotta disagree with the argument that these are all widely available for nextt to nothing. That might have been true a few years ago. You could go into any record store and find copies of all his pre-90s stuff for a few bucks. But that's not really the case anymore with some of these. Nebraska is a lot more rare these days. Even BITUSA is tough to find. Maybe it's just in the NJ/NYC market, but I don't think a lot of these are anywhere near as common as they once were with the exception of maybe Born To Run and The River.
-
Also, was really hoping his lack of appearances recently meant that they were holed up putting together a special edition for The River for release this Fall. Guess not. Would love to see that one get the treatment that Darkness got a few years ago.
-
A release of The River that actually sounds good would be simply incredible. I am definitely not holding my breath. People will probably get excited about Nebraska too, but there's not too much they can do to that one. Maybe make it louder, but I'm not sure I'd want to hear it that way.
-
What were the tour variants they had? Were they just black with more screened covers or something?
-
-
Not to be a wet blanket because I'm as excited as anybody for Black Hole, but has't he said a few times over the years that this was being planned for release? Hopefully it's true this time and I believe it more now than I have in years past, but still...cautious optimism until it's officially announced/up for sale.
-
I read somewhere that this is the Tom Petty album that Petty never put out and I couldn't agree more. Listened to it or the first time today, then I listened to it four more times in a row.
Yeah definitely, and Rumours-era Fleetwood Mac for sure. I'm digging this album so much. Best thing he's put out since 29.

Not joking, although the "what a progression" part was kind of sarcastic because I think this band apes Brand New pretty shamelessly. But I don't really care.
I'm only talking about how it sounds based on the two songs I've heard from this album (this one and the one from that live video a couple pages back), but definitely has the more distorted and heavier aspects of Daisy. Also, I think Daisy is an excellent album.
