  1. Can't. Tell. If. Joking.

I think Daisy is truly one of the worst follow-ups to a great album - ever.

Not joking, although the "what a progression" part was kind of sarcastic because I think this band apes Brand New pretty shamelessly. But I don't really care.

I'm only talking about how it sounds based on the two songs I've heard from this album (this one and the one from that live video a couple pages back), but definitely has the more distorted and heavier aspects of Daisy. Also, I think Daisy is an excellent album.

  2. Yeah, they switched my delivery dates too, but that ended on oct. 27th.

I don't get why anybody would order anything from these guys when the last 5 or so albums they previously released in May STILL arent available.

Apparently I'm a ridiculous exception to the rule, but I ordered Black Sails when it went up and got it shortly after with no problems. Surely I'm not the only one...?

I also dealt with MyPlay for the recent Gaslight preorder and got that one quickly after the ship notice. Bummer that there are all these horror stories though. Nitro clearly has some pretty big kinks to work out.

  3. This album is still awesome and both the splatter and the pic disc arrived in perfect shape.

That said, I'm really bummed to hear about those who ended up with shitty copies through the mail and the lack of response from Infinite Merch to rectify the problems. For a band that very clearly cares about its fan base, it's bewildering that they stick with a merch company that screws the fans over every chance it gets. I'm curious where the miscommunication lies.

  4. Man, forget 18 Tracks. The whole Tracks set needs a vinyl treatment. Minus some of the 4th disc, that box is gold.

Also, gotta disagree with the argument that these are all widely available for nextt to nothing. That might have been true a few years ago. You could go into any record store and find copies of all his pre-90s stuff for a few bucks. But that's not really the case anymore with some of these. Nebraska is a lot more rare these days. Even BITUSA is tough to find. Maybe it's just in the NJ/NYC market, but I don't think a lot of these are anywhere near as common as they once were with the exception of maybe Born To Run and The River.
