Got mine. This is they type of reissues that RSD should focus on, since it seems like it's all reissues now. 90's albums that never had a proper vinyl release.

Nirvana / Shocking Blue "Love Buzz" :-)

DMM claimed to do a lot of what this method is saying that it will. It was an 80's last ditch effort to breathe new life into the format. It worked to an extent; you could fit more music on with less noise for sure. There was one less step in the production process, as they cut out the need for a laquer. But I guess mastering engineers didn't like it. From what I gather, it's hard to cut into the metal stampers, and it actually throws off some of the frequencies. I can't remember exactly how, but Steve Hoffman chimed in on it before on his forum. This sounds like it is unnecessary and will never take off. I think if they want to improve vinyl reproduction, reformulate the vinyl mix into something that's got a lower noise floor and is less prone to pops and clicks, or just improve manufacturing. I don't think all of the laser cutting in the world will save United from their subpar product.

That might be the main problem with it. It sounds too much like the first one.

What's with these lists being alphabetized by first name? And everything starting with "The" is under "T". It's like these lists were made by one of my really dumb relatives.
