  1. This is a good sign. Not really interested in this record but hoping N Sync and Backstreet Boys records get pressed soon.
  2. Got my bundle. sounds amazing. There are still some blue and yellow 7"'s left if anyone's interested: http://thematches.storenvy.com/ I would say this song is indeed epic!: The other song is OK i guess, not as good as Life of a Match:
  3. sweet! I had no idea this was coming with sheet music. My order is still showing as 'unfulfilled' though. For those of you who want the sheet music, Kishi has it up on his Bandcamp as pdf's: https://kishibashi.bandcamp.com/
  4. any one have any opinion on how this 2014 remaster sounds compared to older pressings?
  5. question for people who got the deluxe edition and the individual CD version: is the 12" x 12" booklet that the deluxe version came with the same as the liner notes that came with the CD but larger?
  6. Anything good from this label that anyone recommends? Picking up the Farewell Continental LP and would like like to add something else to my order.
  7. Thanks for the info. do we know if it's going to be the Deluxe Art edition or the regular edition?
  8. I signed up for the Deluxe VIP just to get the Kishi Bashi VIP exclusive. Any one have an idea when the mystery single ships? My month is about to expire, and I don't want to continue the membership. I just signed up for the Deluxe one (over the basic VIP) for the mystery single.
  9. the revelent info from their facebook page: So, here are "Life Of A Match" and "The Crucial Comeback (Mary Claire)". The songs were produced by The Matches and engineered by Jon Devoto. "Life of A Match" also features our dear friends the Patzner brothers, Anton and Lewis, who contributed some sweet strings. The tunes went across the pond to super mixer Chris Sheldon to make them sound as great as we could hope (maybe you have heard one of the albums he mixed, The Colour and the Shape by Foo Fighters). We got it mastered by the legendary Howie Weinberg and now here we are. As always, the art and physical 7" were created with typical Matches care. The colors are awesome and it includes an album insert with lyrics. There are 4 versions being pressed and all are limited editions. White Wax - Limited to 100 Mary Clear - Limited to 150 Classic Black - Limited to 200 We have also made an exclusive version to sell at The Fillmore show in December in CandyCane Red/White, but it is included here in the limited bundles of all 4 versions. Bundle - All 4 Colors - Limited to 100 The vinyl will not ship until December (vinyl takes a long time to press these days), BUT! upon purchase, you will receive downloads of both songs immediately in your email box!!! Thank you so much for your dedication and support! We hope you love these songs as much as we do and sing them LOUD with us at The Fillmore in December. Follow this link http://thematches.storenvy.com to order the version that speaks to you.
  10. am I reading it correctly and the main theme for Batman: TAS is not on any of the records?
  11. It used to work on vinyl. But people who didn't earn Hot Cash were using it on buying a bunch of records. That's why they had to end that. If they offered single use Hot Cash codes, they could bring back vinyl into the deal. Remember: to actually get Hot Cash, you need to spend money at Hot Topic. So they're not straight taking 50% off of a record. You still have to spend a lot to get that deal. At the complete best case, it's only really 25% off, and that's only if you hit exactly $30 initially to get the Hot Cash, and then hit exactly $30 when you spend it, which is almost impossible. Hot Topic was losing a lot of money because people who didn't actually earn Hot Cash were using it on items that already have very low margins.
  12. I wish Hot Topic actually did make them single use with unique codes, so you can only use it if you earned it. That way people can't take advantage of the vinyl, and I can get discounted records if I legitly earned it.
  13. I'm in the same boat. From this thread, it doesn't sound like people got shipping confirmation emails though...they just received the record one day.
  14. why can't vinyl records just come with liner notes by default like CD's do? I hate that I have to buy a deluxe edition or buy it separately. Honestly I would be happy even if it was the same size as the CD liner notes.
  15. I want to see a boxset for each individual Black Sabbath albums, much like the Super Deluxe versions of the Led Zeppelin albums. It should be the definitive pressing of each album, along with demos, alternate versions, live versions, and whatever else they can throw in. Along with books.
  16. These were gone within 5 minutes at Twist & Shout in Denver
  17. oh ok, didn't realize that there was a limited edition of the new album
  18. I love Foals too! But all the Foals albums are still readily available and don't see why the new one won't be either. Just like Speak for Yourself, once this Imogen Heap record is gone, it's gone!
  19. Probably a long shot, but I would totally love to see the Ellipse instrumentals pressed on vinyl!
  20. yea seriously. As much as I hate ordering from SRC, what are my options when it looks like they are the only ones selling an album I love? Either give them my money or not own the album. Wish the band made it public knowledge that the SRC pressing was not theirs and they have their own coming. I think from now on if SRC has an exclusive release, I guess I'm just not going to own the album until it becomes available elsewhere.
