I watched The Cellar (2022) last night and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It's not a great movie by any means, but it was a fun Tuesday night watch. I was a little tired too, which gave it a bit of a late nite movie feel. Little bit cheesy and doesn't reinvent the haunted house. It moves quickly and held my interest almost the whole time.

Yeah, lost the tri when I was trying to check out. I have an older pressing and mostly wanted it because it's a cool variant. Got the clear of the new album.

I watched X tonight and liked it quite a bit! Very much a spiritual companion to House of the Devil. It's impressive that West was able to capture the magic of doing a period film that feels like it was made in the time period it takes place in a second time.

I watched The Exorcism of God yesterday and it's a fun, bad movie. It's got a really entertaining third act.

I'll need to hear this before I order. Bit spendy for a single LP and I didn't listen to my copy of the first EG enough to keep it.

The record store I went to in the late 90s/early 00s would stay open until Midnight on Mondays. I'm pretty sure The Fragile release is the only time I took advantage of that. It was a fairly small city and I can't imagine it was worth their while except for big releases.

Holy fuck. Ken Russell’s “The Devils” is on Shudder now. Always wanted to see this because it’s always on “most fucked up horror movies” lists but it hasn’t been available in the US. Can’t wait to finally watch.
Last Podcast on the Left did a great series on The Devils of Loudun 2-3 years ago and I've been wanting to see that movie since.

Nice, ordered both!

I watched Offseason last night and thought it was a nice way to spend part of a Monday evening. Nothing amazing, but if you like 'something weird is going on in this small town' stories, it's worth the watch.
Is anyone watching Severance? It's easily my favorite show of 2022 (I'm also super behind on a lot of stuff, so bit of a grain of salt haha). It's more of a dark sci-fi show than horror, but I feel like it's pretty terrifying. Definitely worth checking out!

I mostly have a better viewing experience. Seems like the audiences are always people are want to be there and excited to see the movie. Never seems like people are talking or on their phones, which almost always happens when i'm at the Regal or AMC

It'll probably be one I watch at home unless the indie theater by my place shows it. I've kind of realized I don't miss the theater as much as I thought I would.

I'll pile on to the NESI love. Definitely worth the money.

I watched Leprechaun 4 : In Space last night and it was dumb and fun, as expected. Awful CGI, but decent practical effects. I'm working my way through the franchise at a rate of one every St. Patrick's Day.

Got the /199 as well.

Watched a few things recently. Thought The Seed was enjoyable enough. Nothing amazing, but it filled a Thursday evening well. I also watched Fresh. This was decent too, but it was a bit long and seemed to be unsure of what it's tone was.

I gave both copies a listen over the weekend and the single LP sounds really good. Unless you really prefer the original master, you'll probably be happy with the single LP.
