Put some deluxe up on Bandcamp since you can't handle any spike in traffic.
I believe they did that with the GISM preorder a year or two ago

Most likely no money has been throwm at scaling servers cause preorders like this don't justify the additional costs
That's my thoughts on it too. They probably don't need much capacity 95% of the time. Still pretty annoying whenever a big pre-order happens.

SP has been slowly repressing everything, I've heard mixed reviews on the newer pressings, specifically people saying the sound quality sucks. I have a few of them (Remission, Bites, Mind, Cleanse) and they sound ok to me. Then again the holy grail is the 2009 Last Rites Repress.
The ones I have sound good if I remember right. I'm hoping we see a Too Dark Park repress at some point.

Ministry is touring around the same time

I watched M3GAN on Friday night and it's dumb and fun. I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be a horror-comedy or if it was unintentionally comedic.
-
I watched Phantom of the Mall : Eric's Revenge on Saturday night and it's a gem of a bad movie. Highly recommended!
I've also really been enjoying The Last of Us so far.

I watched Sick over the weekend and it was a decent modern slasher. Not sure if I I'd watch it again, but it made for a fun Saturday night movie.

I haven't received anything since issue 2, so I'm done trying
Issue 3 with the 7" came out last Wednesday.

Only the first 6 issues were solicited with 7"s. Not sure if that was the plan all along or this being such a mess had them scrap the idea. It's too bad that a cool idea was soured by delays, not enough copies, etc.

I watched Something in the Dirt on NYE and thought it was great! Don't think Benson/Moorehead fans will be disappointed.

Last night, I watched about 40 minutes of Scare Package II and gave up. I don't remember anything about the first one, which probably means it was very middle of the road. II was pretty unwatchable.

I did not expect the adult swim Yule log thing to be as long as it was, but it was an enjoyably ludicrous little ride. Not quite as surreal as the infomercials that they put out years ago, which I liked more, but I still love the sheer audacity of putting something like this as an oddball surprise out into the world.
I watched it on Thursday and liked it quite a bit. I think the only complaint I have is that it's pretty slow for the first 30 minutes. Once it starts moving though, it's a whole lot of fun!
I also watched Christmas, Bloody Christmas this weekend and loved it. Very much recommended if you need a killer robot Santa slasher in your life.

Message I got about the Portland show
QuoteIt is with the deepest regret that Sunny Day Real Estate has to postpone the upcoming December shows. William unfortunately sustained a broken bone (on his hi-hat hand) in an accident. In order to perform to the standard you expect and deserve, we have made the difficult task to postpone the upcoming concerts to early next year. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly and have exhausted all measures including the potential of an understudy proxy. All tickets for the current shows will remain valid for the reschedules and more information will be forthcoming after the Thanksgiving holiday. We wanted to give you as much heads up as we possibly could, so you can plan accordingly. William’s doctors are happy with his progress and he is on track for a full recovery. Thank you for your never ending support. The first leg of this tour gave us renewed vigor as a band and we cannot wait to play for you in 2023……and beyond.
A new rescheduled date will be announced shortly and all previously purchased tickets will remain valid, so please hang out to your ticket! -

I watched Smile last night and it was pretty bad. It's technically and visually well made. The story didn't do much of anything for me though.
I watched V/HS/99 a while back and thought the middle three shorts were a lot of fun. The first and last weren't so good.
I've got three episodes of The Midnight Club left and it's a mixed bag for me. I'm enjoying the main story, but I think the stories they're telling drag the whole thing down.

My card was charged, but I didn't get an email confirmation. Hoping it all works out! I did get an email to confirm my subscription to the mailing list though haha

Was there a variant other than black there? Seems like the page is down.
There's a black/red variant for $35. Took a long time, but I was able to get an order through.

Was able to get the 748 deluxe with relative ease, only a handful of 504s. Expensive day between this and Botch tickets!
