I have a few (Ryan Adams-Love Is Hell, Beck - Sea Change, and Weezer - Blue Album) and they all sound amazing. However, I have read that pre-2000's are hit or miss. If you're in the market for one, and it's a fairly expensive LP, make sure to check the VC or forums.stevehoffman.tv for reviews.

Yeah Columbus was incredible! Setlist was awesome too. Bummed I didn't get a poster... I was there about 7PM and waited in both lines, and by the time I got to the front, they were sold out. Last year in Cleveland, there were less printed, and they had like 100 left at the end of the show. Oh well...

I got mine yesterday. No download card... They really did a good job packaging the album though. LP itself was shipped in a black poly lined sleeve, and the album jacket was in a sleeve packed separately. Everything was mint condition. LP itself looks really nice.

Ordered. Why do I have a feeling I'm going to buy 10 of these things and then there will be a LP for RSD that has all this stuff on 1 LP for 18 bucks. LOL

Today I received all 4 pearl jam bootlegs or "imports" as some call them... I have to say overall they are really nice.

Are they worth the $50-$60 a piece?: Well it depends on why you are buying them. If you are looking to fill in your pearl jam studio albums, then yes. Overall the LPs all sound really good, there is no pops or skips or crackles, they are extremely high quality LPs. They are nice thick pressings.

Is the packaging true to the originals?: Yes and No. No Code definitely not, it doesn't have the fold out gatefold that the original had, it's simply a gatefold jacket. Binaural, Avocado both have booklets, No Code has the polaroids, etc. The cover art is a bit blurry and glossy across all albums. The jackets are also not on super thick card stock, they feel a bit flimsy, but not too bad...

If you are like me who sold them all off a while ago, or you just never had a chance to buy them, and you are a hardcore pearl jam fan who loves vinyl, then yes, they are worth the cash. If you are all about authenticity and having these sourced from the original master tapes, then hold off until they all eventually get reissued by the band.

Personally, I'm glad I bought them. If you are interested in buying them, I bought them on Discogs from a seller by the name of Borat. I ordered them last friday, and they arrived today, in Ohio from Belgium (all in mint condition, packaged nicely). I think I payed $240 total including shipping... expensive yes, but they are pretty cool...

Pearl Jam seriously needs to look at what Jack White is doing, and follow his business model. They are sitting on an absolute gold mine of reissues and bootlegs.

I'm sure a few of these are hard to find and worth a re-issue to fans... IMO the only Kiss albums really worth a damn, are all available for $1-$5 dollar bins in every record shop in the world. I wish companies would really start getting to 90's and early 2k releases. So many albums I would love the opportunity to buy that don't cost me 100-500 dollars.

Yeah I agree 100%. Truth be told, it's a fantastic greatest hits, and they sound fantastic. I'm usually an album person... But everyone one of their singles is solid to great. Would have made sense to squeeze everything on to 2 LPs.

If they do, i'll dump the box set on ebay and buy the LPs.

IMO, I think it sounds really really good. I wish it came in a gatefold instead of 2LPs in one sleeve. But overall it's worth the  money.

I think not making 7 inch singles is really a missed opportunity. I know when I go to the record store, I would totally look through and pick up a few $5 or $6 singles... It's a way to get people to buy something that they normally wouldn't buy. A few record labels do often times have some good ones they release, but it's few and far between.

Maybe record companies are just scared that if people buy a 7 or 12 inch single, they might not buy the LP when it comes out for 20-30 bucks.

$80 in a few years? If someone is even remotely thinking they want this, they should bite the bullet and buy it... This is easily a few hundred dollar vinyl in a couple years.
