I've had trouble listening to this band for the past couple of months since all of this stuff started leaking out. Not in the "ew they're problematic" way, I just don't have the emotional fortitude to try and listen "around" the issues, if that makes sense. It's never been easy for me to separate the artist from the art, but I don't begrudge anyone who can. TWIABP were my favorite band for years. I felt some degree of closeness with their music that I don't often feel. The notion that one or more of them, people I respected and trusted, could have been consistently abusive is deeply upsetting. That probably sounds weird given that we don't know what happened, but something did happen, and now we're in the dark. Maybe that's worse? I dunno, keep vinyl-ing as usual. I wasn't sure where else to post this. Shit sucks.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I love Sufjan. Move along.

Managed to get the milky splatter before it sold out. I'm so, so excited to hear the current lineup's take on these songs.

This album rules. I liked their previous stuff too but this is on a whole different level imo. Gonna try to pick this up when I see them in Pomona.

New track is totally not what I was expecting. I like it but it hasn't fully clicked for me yet.

This band is made up of the nicest people in the world. Met them after a show a few years ago and they were super gracious. Too stoked on the new songs.

The wait for this is unbearable, their last LP was stellar.

New song is great, I'll probably just end up getting this on release day though. I don't want to have to pick between the covers anyway.

I am dying for this thing to come out. I can wait a few more days, but damn. I've deprived myself of all the singles thus far so that I can take it all in at once. The wait is unbearable.

Snagged the HT Exclusive Rey, Poe Dameron, and Kylo Ren last night. Wandered over to GameStop and managed to get the last Exclusive Stormtrooper Finn as well, which they had on hold for a guy who never showed up. The Force Awakens hype is real.

So glad the PO date dropped before I got paid this week. Gonna put aside a decent chunk of change for this or a bundle or something. Everything. All of it. I love this band a lot.

Nabbed the black when this dropped, luckily. As if I wasn't stoked enough on this band, donating to such a great cause was icing on the cake.

Haven't listened to Circa in years, but I'll definitely check out the new single when it drops. I'm stoked to see how a heavy latter-day Circa operates.

I hope I have some (read: any) money by the time they get to Anaheim, I'd love to own this.

I would love if Mondo could somehow press the OSTs for Hot Fuzz and World's End in a similar style. Having the whole trilogy would be crazy and spectacular.

I'm pretty tempted by Looper, but that price. Yeesh. I'll have to watch the movie again before deciding, I've been meaning to rewatch it ever since Rian Johnson was announced for the new Star Wars.

I keep hearing about a potential Last Of Us soundtrack release, has this been confirmed or hinted at? Or is it purely rumor? I only ask because I would order that faster than pretty much anything else I could conceive of.
