Yeah that's more or less what I was saying. I collect NIN stuff and ordered it from the website despite the 13 dollar shipping for Media Mail in hopes of them sending an extra 12inch or something like they did with the How To Destroy Angles EP. So I was just passing along there's no extra physical bonus. And as of right now you can't DL it so I'm guessing that will drop Monday or Tuesday.

The Lp sounds great, nice a clean I like it it a lot more than the I-tunes streaming version no big surprise. Unfortunately it came with printed sleeves and of course the bottoms were blown out. Nothing extra for NIN.com so support you local record store if you were on the fence.

I think it's a little silly to insist NIN has reached "a new low" or "lost it" over one song. While I agree this is way more upbeat and poppy than the stuff he's done in the past. All the albums have their ups and downs. The Downward Spirals is awesome but if I never heard Piggy again I'd be fine with it. Trent retired the band in 2009 and has since gotten married, had some kids, won an academy award and is "happy for the 1st time in his life". Of course he and the band has changed. He even references this in the song: "Wave goodbye, wish me well, I've become something else" I for one am just thrilled that we get some we get some new music (some good and some not good I assume) and have a chance to see them play again. Let the dude grow and try some new shit without freaking out, it's one song. Also that video is amazing!

Hopefully it will include the Steve Albini mixes of the album. It's actually 55 on Amazon right now. Could be worse I paid 70 or 80 for the 4 disc Nevermind a few years back.

I'm thrilled it's being pressed I can't wait to get it. My comment was more about RSD all the stores have crazy lines and people are going crazy to get records and half of them end up being flipped on ebay. Fantastic Planet was readily available for about a year. I had my local shop order me one and had it the day it came out with out going to the store 3 hours before it opened hoping that I'd get one.

I can't wait till we're all bidding against each other on e-bay for the variant in a few months. Fucking Record Store Day.
