  1. Hey @BuzzersonKillwell, did you see that Whores are going on tour with Red Fang again?
  2. I don't know how many Caustic Resin fans we have on this board, but here it is. The Medicine Is All Gone is finally being remastered from the original tapes and issued on vinyl! “I was obsessed with this record when it was first released and it still blows my mind — a forgotten classic of American underground rock” — Mark Lanegan “Caustic Resin made a bunch of great f***ing records and The Medicine Is All Gone was one of their best. The riff (and everything else) of the lead track ‘Cable’ is from one of the finest songs not only of 1998, but ever. You need this record.” — Dylan Carlson (Earth) Caustic Resin announce the deluxe reissue of their celebrated 1998 album The Medicine is All Gone. Recorded in 1998 with engineer Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Modest Mouse, Built To Spill), the album was a highpoint both sonically and in terms of songwriting in the 15 year career of the Boise rock trio. Initially released on Alias Records, after many years of the album’s high repute passing, largely by word of mouth, the calls and campaigns for this landmark album to be released on vinyl have finally been heeded. Even after over a decade and a half The Medicine Is All Gone still sounds remarkable. The album is an intoxicating ride through the heaviest of psychedelic trips, its avalanche of layered guitars cascading into fathomless waters of calm respite before the white knuckle ride rises again and again. Its vocals and lyrics sound as though they are the last gasp scream uttered by a man who stands at the precipice of his own mortality. And indeed he might have been. Amazon - $27.98 with Prime Bandcamp - $29 PPD Light in the Attic - $26.07 PPD
  3. Subrosa's album "More Constant Than The Gods" has been repressed. 250 copies on clear and 250 copies on cream. https://profoundlorerecords.merchtable.com/music/subrosa-more-constant-than-the-gods-vinyl-2xlp-re-press#.V5rjtpODGkr
  4. It's interesting how much the common Pokemon vary by location. I catch Ponytas and Geodudes all day in SLC but they're uncommon for you. Other people say the see tons of Doduos, but I've never seen one yet. I'm driving to Denver on Saturday and it will be cool to see what I run into out there or if it will even make a difference only being one state over.
  5. Another 7" from Goya coming soon. This time it's a Nirvana covers 7" lathe limited to 100.
  6. I was over at the cemetary by my house today. There were a ton of people like normal. A Haunter appeared and everyone flipped. it was awesome.
  7. I'm level 15 and I've still never received a 10km egg. All the 2km and 5km eggs I've hatched have been Ratattas, Pidgeys, and Weedles. The one exception has been a Staryu, but the other ~10 eggs have been garbage.
  8. I figured as much. I ended up popping out the sim card to see who the carrier was. It was T-Mobile, so I popped it into my phone and an alert popped up with a new voicemail. I listened to it hoping it was the owner. Turns out it was just a family friend or something. I tried calling back the person that left the message but they didn't answer. I figured I'll just leave the sim card in a spare phone I've got and hope someone tries to get in contact so I can get a home phone/email/address from someone.
  9. Random question for anyone that can answer.... This morning I found an iPhone 6s on the side of the road. The screen is completely smashed. When I plug it into my computer, iTunes tells me "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone “iPhone” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." Because of that, and the screen not working, I can't find any information that would lead me to the owner. If I take it to the Apple store, is there any way they could pull any info like an email or phone number? I'd like to get it back to the owner if possible.
  10. Yessssss. Finally get to see Caspian play a headlining set. The Appleseed Cast opening is a nice bonus too.

  12. You should be fine for finding Pokemon. In fact, you should be able to find a lot of cool stuff. If you go near those rivers/lakes, you should be able to grab some water types. The only downfall of living in the country is you won't have as many Pokestops, where you can refill with free Pokeballs, potions, eggs, etc.
  13. I went to a show this afternoon at a ski resort and there was so much good stuff around.
  14. attn: @fitterhappier @JoshuaNilk @2notepockets etc, The new SubRosa album goes up for preorder from Profound Lore tomorrow at 1pm EST. There's also going to be a new song premiered and a tour announced.
  15. I went to the grocery store with my brother tonight. As we were going through an aisle, there were two kids huddled around a phone. One of the kids said "Where is he? I know he's around here somewhere." As we walked past, we kind of laughed and the parents asked if we played too. I said yes and the dad turned to the kids and said, sorry kids, I think these guys caught the Pokemon already. The two kids let out a collective "awwwwwwwwwwwww, I wanted that one!" A minute later we were a couple isles over and heard them cheering when they finally found the one they were looking for. I'm glad things worked out for them.
  16. I went to a show at a venue/botanical garden tonight and there were Pokestops EVERYWHERE. It seemed like every sign identifying a plant in the garden was a stop. I stocked up on Pokeballs/eggs like crazy while wandering the gardens after the opening band. haha. There were a few other people wandering around with their phones out too. You can always pick out the people that are playing.
