I've always asked the buyer to send it as a gift if they're feeling nice, but if they're not comfortable with that then it's perfectly fine and I just incur the extra fee. Basically I just leave it up to the buyer to be courteous or not. And if they send it as a gift maybe I'll include a few cool stickers or something. 

Hopefully after reading this people on the board will be more careful. What sucks is that scammers are what are making this community much more negative than it ever has been.. shit is getting out of control. On the old board this wasn't happening as often as it is now it seems. I had been preferring my buyers to send payments as gift to avoid fees however I always urge all of them before the deal is agreed to send whichever method they choose. Now, it should be common practice on this board to send as payment no matter who you are, that way it eventually should shy scammers away from attempting such a thing and in return make this community more safe and enjoyable to trade.

So psyched to finally own big choice and so weird that this is the same thread I started forever ago when I was originally looking for it.

Got my package yesterday. The TAN and GREEN vinyl doesn't work as well with the artwork as the pink or blue, but overall the package is pretty cool. Glad I dropped the cash on it.

I found this online store that has a lot of RSD2013 stock. Picked up a deftones live vol.1, and a dazed and confused for the same price i saw them in stores on record store day! does look like they only ship to canada though.

Yeah I think this could qualify. Wasn't a promo LP only? And does anyone know how many were pressed? Plus it goes for $150+ on ebay.

Went to a couple record stores today. The first was a store that's moving in a few weeks so they're trying to get rid of as much stuff as they can so they don't have to move it. This is one of those stores that is just stacked with boxes full of albums (mostly older stuff). They had just put out a bunch of boxes from storage that they hadn't looked through yet. I was lucky enough to stumble upon a box filled with Beatles albums.

Most of the albums are in pretty great shape. With a little bit of cleaning, they'll sound good. The Ella Fitzgerald album was released in 1949, which makes it the oldest record in my collection. The Superman record was an interesting find. It'll be a fun listen once I get my new turntable in the mail.
