I would tend to agree unless Relapse has a hidden ace up their sleeves. I just need UYHS again because my copy is warped as shit. 

I just want You Come Before You to be repressed so I don’t have to pull the trigger on a  $100+ copy on Discogs. Likelihood this ever happens is significantly diminished and unlikely since it was on Atlantic…

I wish this band got more attention and credit for their work— such awe inspiring music and vocals. Every release keeps adding something new to their sound that I look forward to hearing.

This song feels like a great blend of Bloom and Breathe and PL. Instrumentals like B&B and lyrical/voice direction of PL. Song is pretty much perfect and only getting better each time I listen to it.

 

Also, Gates has this really great way of making me feel like their music is a physical representation of my thoughts and feelings. It’s always an emotional experience for me. Hard to describe but maybe some others feel the same.

Goddamn I’m so glad they are back.

I may be biased because this is my favorite band but they are some of the most talented musicians and wonderful people you could ever come across.

I agree 100% with everything RadDonut said. You’ll find something different with every Gates song or album. 

I’d be lying to myself if I didn’t say I am really happy for a return to the heavier sound even if it’s just this song. With that though, Parallel Lives is a masterpiece and showcased so many new layers that the band wanted to experiment with.

Agreed. I remember when this came out when I was a freshman in high school and thinking it was the heaviest thing I heard at the time. “Irreversal” still rips.
 I wish Alive or Just Breathing was repressed so I’m hoping this album being pressed might breath some life into that. 

The first Killswitch Engage album is up at Bull Moose. Not sure if this is getting a wide release but it says the label is Metal Blade (Ferret obviously isn’t around anymore but interesting). No info about pressing numbers.
