  1. I used to have a girlfriend like this outside of the calling into work. It was not fun. Lots of tears for no reason. However, she was quite good - looking and the sex was great.
  2. Runner Up - Fugazi - End Hits My Vote Goes To The Dismemberment Plan - Emergency & I
  3. Society puts such a high priority on sex and everything attached to it (getting married, having kids, etc.), but I think it is great that you have not given a shit and chosen to live for yourself. Everyone expects everyone else to have a crazy high sexual drive, which includes you having to "like" someone, or to have a sexual desire that manifests itself in a way that you need to express it outwardly by physical expression. If you do not exhibit these qualities it is looked at as weird or abnormal. I bought into that stuff way too much in high school and wish I hadn't looking back, point is though, it is great that you can see past those.
  4. I use the iTunes match service which works pretty well. Outside of throwing the files into iTunes I don't really need iTunes to do anything else.
  5. Does The Odd Couple grow on you? I remember listening to it once when it came out, but stuck for me.
  6. My vote is for The Dismemberment Plan - Change The Color & The Shape and Clarity are close runner - ups.
  7. Thanks Flood! Maybe someone else that can get some extra copies can do the same sort of thing since this variant seems to be in pretty high demand.
  8. When my mom comes over to help take care of my child she does the dishes but always leaves dirt on them so I have to rewash them anyway. I don't know how to tell her to stop. Also, one time she put my Rival Schools - United By Fate in the window to block out the sun which resulted in the C/D side being significantly warped. She helps me out so much but holy shit is she losing her marbles.
  9. As far as indie folk I would check out Jose Gonzalez's solo record In Our Nature. He's part of Junip. Sharon Van Etten - Tramp is a great record as well. Anything by The Tallest Man On Earth. A Great Big Pile Of Leaves - You Are Always On My Mind. American Football - S/T. Fleet Foxes - both full lengths. As far as hip-hop goes check out Diamond District - In The Ruff. Oddisee - People See What They Hear. For Post Rock you could look into Sigur Ros and Godspeed! You Black Emporer.
  10. It's not that I "can't handle shit." I don't understand the mindset of being a dick for the sake of it, unless of course it's funny.
  11. Goddammit! Of course someone beat me to it. Well, thanks for not being a dick about. Not being a dick seems to be the exception rather than the rule on these boards.
  12. Real name: Matt Favorite Bands: Against Me!, NOFX, Propagandhi, Converge, Cave In, Anything Evan Weiss related, Get Up Kids, The Menzingers, Hum, Failure, Minus The Bear, this list could go on and on. Hobbies (outside of record collecting): I play guitar and piano. Trying to find time to write songs when not putting all of my attention into my family and school. Also, I am trying to learn Photoshop right now which is a lot of fun. Play in a band? Run a record label? Link us!: Used to play in a harcore/punk band and then a pop punk band but I'm too old now. I just want to spend time with wife and daughter. Random things you want us to know about you: I had an original pressing of Coheed & Cambria - In Keeping Secrets and sold it for $40 back in the day. So I guess I want everyone to know I'm an idiot.
  13. So happy that Rodgers is starting for the Packers on Sunday. That game will be great!
  14. If someone could pick up a tour variant for me I would be much obliged. I can't make it to any of the shows unfortunately.
  15. I just emailed. Thanks for the help. Just for the record, I have had nothing but great experiences with SRC!
  16. I got a blue copy and left it out by the record player. My mom came over to watch my kid the next day and when I got home from work she had placed the sleeve in the window with the records still in the sleeve to block out the sun (there are two 2x2 windows in the corner of the living room of my apartment and not any good way to use curtains or blinds on them). I use cardboard mailers in the windows to block out the sun, she thought there was no difference between those and actual records (she is in her late 70s). Anyways, side C/D is so warped now that it is unplayable. I'm just lamenting my woes here, wonder if anyone else has had something like this happen.
  17. I've thought the same as well. This record actually got me into Evan and all of his projects. This may be blasphemy but it has been difficult for me to get into Proper. I think its okay, but Intersections blows it away.
  18. Does anyone know pressing numbers? Just got mine today. Says green vinyl on the sticker of the jacket but its clearly the "purple" version even though it looks magenta.
  19. Preorder is up: http://shirtsanddestroy.com/magic_bullet_records
