I'm not a huge fan of either but holy shit, are there people who actually like AVA? I always felt like they were the biggest joke, anybody ever see that video of them trying to play Down at some festival and he fucks up and gets hit with a water bottle? They suck, every song sounds the same, and now this dude is trying to make books and movies around AVA? lol

If it's going to get derailed like this one may again, just going to be deleted. And warnings and bans/suspensions will be issued regardless.

Not to be a dick (guess there's no way this question can be asked without coming off as one), but why exactly don't you just ban the individual users derailing the blink thread?  There was actually some decent discussion happening occasionally, but when the idiots came in you guys just locked the thread (which is what they wanted you to do.  They had no interest in the releases and just wanted to mess with people who had what they considered to be juvenile music tastes, so, congratulations, they won).  You punish users using the boards correctly and the jackasses who caused the issues laugh and move on.  
 
Point being, the releases are popular enough that the discussion really shouldn't take place in a generic Hot Topic thread, as it'll probably get overrun with Blink posts.  I don't see why you guys have to lock a thread instead of warning and banning problem posters.  Some of them even had pretty decent feedback ratings so I think they would've taken the threat of a ban pretty seriously if they knew they'd have to start from square one again.  I know I would, and my feedback rating is tiny.

What I would love to see get a repress is Armor For Sleep's catalogue. Especially their first two albums.

I could not agree with you more. Honestly, I categorize myself with the "2nd Gen" blink fans. My favorite records are S/T, TOYPAJ, and Neighborhoods in that order. I don't dislike any of their other stuff it's really fun to listen to. But the maturity I found in those records along with the more serious topics really hit hard for me. I was in a really dark place when Neighborhoods dropped. And none of my friends understand it. But I do love that record. A lot. I know its not "Classic Blink" but S/T was what drew me in, in the first place. I was too young at their prime to enjoy their more raunchy stuff. My first blink song was First Date in a movie called clock stoppers. I was in the third grade I believe
