  2. This release is up for 'Album of the Year' with Pirates Press. They are pretty high up in the rankings, I'd love to see this album win:) I think to vote, all you need to do is 'like' the facebook photo/post.https://www.facebook.com/PiratesPress/photos/a.10155456044424027.1073741830.124003499026/10155456307609027/?type=3
  3. Yeah movie, didn't really go anything for me. But i'd really love to have all the tunes from it.
  4. So I really want to get the Mondo release this year for ParaNorman. Are the record stores only allowed a certain number of copies, or is it worth it to talk to them and see if they can order any last minute copies? Don't want to miss this!
  5. Have this, but am a little scared it'll just start leaking everywhere
  6. Some of those random splatter mixes look incredible in the wax packs
  7. Yeah there's a few releases I got from this sale that i'm pretty stoked about, I'll have to get the Hopesfall at another point though. Do you know if anyone ever pressed A-Types on LP?
  8. Saw this posted online, pretty rad deal of 20% off I Am Shark's vinyl releases, some distro titles, and really digging their LP shirts and slip mats. Got into these guys from their The Story Changes - Static And Trembling release, kinda blown away they are doing Star Wars stuff too, got mine in the mail yesterday. Use 'springcleaning' as the discount code - doesn't say how long this will run though:/ http://iamshark.limitedrun.com
  9. Feel the same, probably because he didn't have Joe Trapanese helping on everything. Dude is a straight genius
  10. Picked up one of those Gravity album's last week, holy hell I'm excited to have in my mondo collection.
  11. YES! been waiting for a while. Need to get Pelican's new album too, from what I've heard it's super aggressive and translates their live show show well into an album
  12. Actually really digging the "We Were Numb" song they have for free download on that contest page. Like 2 minutes long, gritty guitar riff, short and sweet. Listening to the whole album on spotify totally made my week.
  13. people need to save their mailers for a later date. be smart.
  14. Modern Vinyl is proud to team up with The Story Changes for our newest contest, in which we’ll be giving away a couple awesome items: (1) A vinyl copy of the new album from The Story Changes, titled Static and Trembling and (2) one pair of Grado headphones, the details of which you can see in the image above. The album was produced and engineered by Hawthorne Heights’ Micah Carli, while being described as a “nod to the late-’90s alternative and punk scene.” It’s available for purchase over at I Am Shark and is streaming on the contest page. Furthermore, you can also download one of the album tracks, titled “We Were Numb,” here. The Grado headphones, part of their “Prestige Series,” are valued at $150. Enter here: http://modern-vinyl.com/2013/10/15/contest-the-story-changes-grado/ Really like the TSC color variant, and wouldn't mind snagging a pair of these Grado's!
