Ordered Photo Album and Facts through SRC on the 19th, just arrived in the UK today. Not bad at all considering the time of year. Never thought I'd get round to owning these, stoked.

Yup, 71% black and 26% splatter (remaining) to be precise. Pretty good going for this time of the month as FD says.

Agreed on the 7". I actually wouldn't mind them if I had a quality place/unit/thing to store them in/on. Currently the 23 I own are in a drawer with my socks. Vinyl Storage 101.

Maybe they thought they'd try to be scientific; get that sample size increased for a PROPER test lol

Anecdotally I think mine are about the same, most of the records that make me go 'ooo this one looks shiny new' have had poly-lined sleeves, or that card that you get with a sort of coating on the inside, whatever that is.

Vinyl record production isn't like making silicon wafers, tiny scratches are par for the course. They can creep in at any point from the manufacturing process through to packing and distribution in paper sleeves or whatever. As long as the record sounds badass its all good.

The mass selloff is in full swing, I keep getting various alerts for people trying to flog off their OG for a tidy profit before the repress drops. I'm going to put my money on a fast first press sell out but a more protracted second press, maybe a few days or so. I hope I'm wrong though, it'd be great if the band manages to get rid of them all quick.

They done it with 'You Will Eventually Be Forgotten'. The second press was up and shipping straight after the first had gone.

Got the original in grey and a test press, but I can definitely see myself ordering this for the changes. The preorder couldn't come at a worse time though, xmas has wiped me out.

So here we are. Arrived safely, came shrink wrapped. Package: The sleeve looks great, though the card is thin, but sturdy enough. The vinyl is stunning, as was evident earlier, and not so evident with my low-light poor photography. No liner notes, just a download code. Audio and manufacture: Having just listened, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the sound, it sounded great. I'm hearing all the detail, whether it be on the louder parts of '26isdancier' and 'rufus', or the more soulful 'japanese ultraviolence' I'm hearing crisp guitars and great range. Trackwise, '1470 Man' and 'Want To Come Back... Belle and Seb' are switched around, at least to what I'm used to. Manufacturer is XVinylX from Prague, Czech Republic, I have no experience of them, anyone have any comments? Worth it?: I imagine when you guys and girls in the US open this package you may feel a bit cheated as you don't get much 'tangible' for your money (for me it was a bargain btw ^^), but one spin of this record will soon cheer you up, I guarantee you.

Damn they both look great. Got my shipping confirmation, should arrive tomorrow, but I won't be in for a few days... gutted. The postman normally leaves my vinyl outside the front door (secure apartments/decent neighbours), but going to have to leave him a note to take this back to the depot, don't want to risk this going missing while I'm away!

Yeah I think so, either pressing will be a keeper thats for sure.
