  1. Yeah. #jenkins put this in my boxset instead of the black-speckle boxset variant then stopped replying to my emails. Sounds and looks great though so I never pushed it.
  2. Probably best holding fire until after release when they usually make it onto amazon, which will hopefully be cheaper.
  3. These guys are unbelievable, the album should be a cracker. Released 15th June via Big Scary Monsters: http://bsmrocks.awesomedistro.com/products/550319-delta-sleep-twin-galaxies-cd-lp-preorder 100 - Yellow with orange colour in colour heavyweight 300 - Black heavyweight Preview of one of the songs: https://soundcloud.com/deltasleep/05-lake-sprinkle-sprankle#t=0:00
  4. Ordered the triple bundle, been looking forward to this for a while. The new song is great!
  5. I got mine from their official website. They switched their euro distributer to the UK about a year ago I believe, so it's far cheaper than it was previously; I bought 'no more stories' a while back and the shipping was bonkers.
  6. Nice surprise in the mail this morning! Going to try get around to spinning it this weekend. Really great package, super glossy.
  7. Great album, really enjoyed that. Can't wait to listen again when the vinyl arrives.
  8. Sheffield isn't bad, if it were all in one section I think it'd be easier to say. They have the chart stuff/best sellers strewn throughout the shop. The main section is maybe 8 wide, 3 rows deep? with about 6 - 8 crates underneath. They also stock dance/hiphop/metal and I think world, with probably 2-4 crates worth each. I've seen worse in HMV, and better.
  9. Agreed, really looking forward to the variety that comes with increased demand and production. Saying that though, wasn't there chatter around the boards relating to small independents getting pushed out of plants they've been using for years due to the larger companies muscling in? I don't know much about the industry so can't really comment, but it sounded worrying. As long as the smaller labels can still do what they do best I'll be happy - ultimately it's them that have kept the medium ticking.
  10. Not sure anyone has discussed this yet. The UK vinyl chart launched yesterday; the blessing and curse of vinyl re-gaining more mainstream popularity. I'm not into this chart stuff, but there is quite an interesting table of UK vinyl sales by volume over the past 20 years - probably small numbers compared to US volumes: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/uk-s-first-official-vinyl-charts-launch-as-vinyl-sales-soar-in-2015__8906/
  11. Ouch, that's really bad luck. I don't mind waiting longer, it'll be worth it.
  12. Great band, they've been around for a good decade or so on Mogwai's label Rock Action; this vinyl release is particularly nice, though $50 is a brutal price - I love them but wouldn't pay that either. It costs £23 shipped ($34) in the UK. Let's hope that comes down so non UK customers can check it out without breaking the bank. I picked mine up for £20 at their merch stand on Saturday. Amazing live, hopefully this album will bring them a bit more recognition.
  13. Yes, yes, yes. It is utterly infuriating. They're like the proverbial flies in my otherwise uniform ointment.
  14. Hmmmm tricky. Two that come to mind immediately that sound fantastic are: The Notwist - Neon Golden (2010 reissue) The Twilight Sad - Forget The Night Ahead 2xLP
  15. Forgot to mention I got my Debut and Post; they were UK signed for (i.e. tracked) but I didn't get any of this information on the account page for OLI, and only one of my two orders showed as being complete, the one I've received is still processing hah.
  16. Mine was in one of the crappy thin cardboard mailers that everyone hates; coupled with that though, was that they put it inside a much larger Fedex bag, so there was no way for the carrier to really see what the item was, nor were there any "handle with care/fragile" messages. As a result the cardboard mailer came with massive creases/dings, but thankfully the vinyl sleeves were unharmed this time. I hope my Debut/Post order fairs better/just as well.
  17. Homogenic + Vespertine arrived today. Seen pics of the former earlier in the thread. The Homogenic sleeve is laughable frankly, but the record is what counts I suppose. Vespertine on the other hand is gorgeous. High quality gatefold with a glossy type finish. The inner sleeves have a cutout and have the lyrics - they're not poly lined but have that smooth sorta shiny material on the inside; though I don't keep them in that. Sorry about the spotlight glare.
  18. Got my Vespertine and Homogenic dispatch notification, still waiting on the notification for Post and Debut on my separate order. yasssssssss.
  19. They've only gone and arrived, nothing better after a sub-par day at work. One very minor corner ding on the 180Black, Splatter in perfect condition and both shipped outside the sleeve so no tears to be seen. Listening to the black atm, sounds fantastic, will need to do a side by side comparison with the OG someday when I have infinite time. Very happy. Damn straight, same!
