  1. I posted on the band hinting at this the other day, but it appears the post was deemed non vinyl related and moved. Now it is official, preorders are up: http://thistownneedsguns-vinyl.bandcamp.com/ edit: I also just noticed this is 'shipping out on or around 01 December 2014'. So we're in for a wait, though it'll be worth it.
  2. TTNG posted on their facebook about an hour ago with the following: I'd hazard a guess that this is already in the pipeline, but I'm sure some extra likes on their facebook page will seal the deal. I myself have dreamt of this particular release for a long time! https://www.facebook.com/ttnguk?fref=nf
  3. Wow, my day just keeps getting better! First, some charming individual emails me out of the blue to tell me I've inherited $12.5 million, and now you're telling me I can get all of this vinyl at rock bottom prices! Someone must be pulling my leg, 25% is just too much savings...
  4. Got the OG for dirt cheap. This is my favourite Pinback album and the vinyl sounds great, I'd only ever consider buying the reissue if I caught them on tour as someone else said, which is unlikely being UK based.
  5. Queued at Record Collector in Sheffield, UK to get me some: Twilight Sad - Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters 2xLP Twin Atlantic - 71/1000 There was so much more I wanted but I'm poor so meh.
  6. This'll be another $30 down the swanny. Sakes. Well done to the band though, on the up and up.
  7. Peeps be either crazy or they have far more money than us to burn. Either way I'm jealous. Though I'll spin my £12 variant and sleep quite contently after doing so.
  8. Everyone knows carpet makes records sound SO much better.
  9. Couldn't see a post, they've put some tasty stuff up. My pockets aren't deep enough for the chaos that will ensue. http://www.ebay.com/sch/nosleeprecords/m.html?item=190983226980&pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item2c777cc664&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  10. Those could be the straps reflecting from his camera. It's just a shit photo all round. Failing that, the guy is an idiot.
  11. Nothing since receiving the 'contacting company email'. I imagine it'll take a while for them to negotiate the repress, assuming the plant accepts responsibility it might go quicker, else the process will take longer, maybe 1-2 months as my uneducated guess. Perhaps someone on the boards who runs/negotiates with a pressing plant can give us their two cents on how long pressing errors take to rectify?
  12. Miscounted! Dudes need to do some Khan academy, get those arithmetic skills honed a bit more. Great for people who've been holding out
  13. lol not bad considering it's most definitely a google translate job. At the price he's charging though, he could hire a f**king interpreter to do a good job of it!
  14. Preorder arrived this morning, verdict later today when I have the chance to digest it. edit: This sounds great. I was worried the sound and the range of the audio wouldn't translate, but thoroughly enjoyed this. Would be interested to hear what others think, but I recommend it to anyone who has been holding out.
  15. Picked up a solid blue variant of this tonight when they played here in Sheffield (not the mixed variants). Can't seem to find any info on the pressing, but one of their facebook posts from early March says for collectors to watch for info re: solid blue. Might be tour only in that case.
  16. Version 2 arrived this morning, nice and speedy international service, peanut swag and all! Great stuff.
  17. Internationally hell no, 8 days is great, fantastic even. Domestic UK we'll have to agree to disagree as I do think it matters whether I get my stuff faster or not. If prices are equivalent, I'll just move my business on to whoever provides the quicker service, I'm sure any savvy customer would do the same. Going back to my point, I'm talking about the same label here. I'm over the moon when TSR-US gets items to me in 8 days (heck internationally I'm happy with several weeks), but they have consistently delivered extremely speedily internationally, hence why I have used them repeatedly and am very happy. But you can't surely expect me to be happy with ordering from a UK based distributor (on behalf of TSR) that takes the same time to get the item to me, international borders aside. Hence why I'll continue to use the US site.
  18. Received a reply from them this morning. They're in contact with the manufacturer about replacing these apparently. Lucky I'm not that fussed about Act III so I'm in no particular rush. Looking forward to giving it a chance whenever the replacement does turn up any-roads.
  19. Mail from Monotreme FYI. I'm actually happy with the printed inner sleeve, never been very fond on posters.
