The last answer I got was in April but I reckon it has been postponed again with all this RSD nonsense.

(PO Soon) FUZZ - II 2XLP 10/23/15
CaptainHerbalLife replied to mcpherson123's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Fucking hell. Just needed to share this. I just found out my deluxe copy never arrived at my aunt's place in the US. Ordered it to hers for safekeeping because I didn't want to break the bank by paying for both the record along with the international shipping at the time. I was dumb enough not to use tracking to follow it's journey as it never occurred to me that it could go missing. Sure enough it did. Favourite record from last year combined with this loss makes it easily my worst vinyl experience. FUCK. What a perfect line from Silent Sits The Dust Bowl -

Good CFM read. I've already grown to love the record. Solid album. http://www.jankysmooth.com/inter-review-charles-moothart-cfm-still-life-of-citrus-and-slime-04-08-2016/ -

I must admit though, after listening to the record, the purple does have some redeeming qualities to it. The album does after all feature a song on it titled 'Purple Slime'. Oh. And the music was OK too. I guess, as they were both released by In The Red, I can live with Traditional Fools being on red wax and all. -

No probs. Merely trying to spread the hate. Am also very stoked about Ritual Abuse being repressed. Jamming it as I type and need to get on that myself. Right when I am able to set aside 100 bucks to get both that and the new one at the same time. Relapse shipping is most expensive. -

Ditto. I so would if I wasn't situated on the other side of the Atlantic to render such a deal way too expensive. Personally I was a little bummed and thought it weird that they would do even go for something other than yellow/gold for a record with such a title. Also, would have been stoked on a green (lime'ish) or yellowish (citrus) colour for the CFM but hey, I'm just weird like that. -

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't hang around that long. They've gone and re-pressed their previous LP now as well, just as expected. /300 bone/white merge so it's possible to grab that along with the new LP. https://store.relapse.com/item/39397 I haven't been too crazy about Cough either but I still remember when I first listened to Ritual Abuse back when I got into Windhand and thought it the most evil thing ever. It's difficult to not be blown away by the bleakness of their vision. Also, second Beastwars track released of their newest. Still bummed I missed out on the coloured variant but hey, it was only available as a bundled with a t-shirt and I really don't need another band logo on my chest. https://soundcloud.com/sheltered-life-pr/beastwars-devils-of-last-night -

Speaking of Cough.... Anyone want to guess how long these /500 will last? I personally see it as the most alluring variant (a lot more interesting than clear to me) but I can see people opting for the most limited variant for possible resale value and that will probably sell out in a few days if not less. -

PO Black Mountain IV
CaptainHerbalLife replied to xpacinox's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I've listened to the leak a few times now and find the album quite enjoyable. There are definitely some great moments but am I the only one to think the lyrics are cliched and bordering on kitsch at times? The record as a whole seems slightly uninspired and they actually sound like a cut copy of Arcade Fire on some tracks (Defector - Reflector anyone?) To be fair, I do enjoy the interchanging of male-female vocal though which remind me of Sleepy Sun's best records. And Mothers of the Sun is a great tune. -

So it seems TRL is shipping these earlier than their own website. Bummed for me but yay for everyone else Holding out for the vinyl to unveil it all. -

Damn. I'm really enjoying this. Remember checkingit out ages ago but didn't find it appealing then. Getting a strong Albini vibe from this one. -

Dudes, it seems Hydrophonic Records is folding and they're sadly emptying storage for the next week or two. Might be reasonable to grab whatever you need from them now http://www.hydro-phonicrecords.com/ -

I still don't get it. Not quite sure what people were expecting of it to turn out so dissapointed but I personally think it's a solid record. Nothing mind-blowing but very satisfying definitely. -

Went for separate orders. 8199 for CFM and 8252 for TF. Hope the latter was still in time for coloured. Free shipping for US folk? Lucky. -

Wait...so it's 12PM and I paid for the new CFM that just went up. What's this about Traditional Fools at 3PM, you future dwellers? -

Interested to hear how effective they are live. Their record seems like a straight lift from Windhand's book but it is darn enjoyable nonetheless. -

Just bought the LP after two full listens in. So primitive. In the best sort of way.
