  1. Quite unexpected but that's great news indeed. Both for the band and myself (it's a bit easier on the wallet to grab TJ releases). Would've thought they would go through Sige for sure. But then again that means they will reach a much wider audience and they do have that potential. Seems to me people sleep on Sige quite a bit.
  2. Ugh. Wish there was an European distro for this. 38$ is way steep for a single LP.
  3. Damn, that sounds good. Her voice reminds me of a singer on Sunwolf's most recent LP. It's probably the same girl, considering that SW LP will also be released by Throne in a few months.
  4. They do. Combined mine with the new Inventions EP and I ordered that way back in September too. They might be slow on the response though. Took some time for me. Hopefully you get an answer before it ships.
  5. Great Jon Davis interview http://noisey.vice.com/blog/conan-jon-davis-interview Also, this new Beastwars track rips. https://soundcloud.com/sheltered-life-pr/beastwars-call-to-the-mountain
  6. Indeed, that new tune rips. Thanks for the promised effort! There's a repress coming so I might actually grab that but most of all would love to get that first press bronze variant though.
  7. Meh. Double post. I will use this time to appreciate the amazing tune that is Effervescent. Too bad this was so overpriced on wax. BUT I will have this in the shelf one day. Also, does anyone have an extra copy of Elephant Tree's Theia they would like to part with? I have only now begun to appreciate that EP more but I totally missed out on the LP. Nowhere to be found, sadly.
  8. In not-so-stoner news. A new Tombs EP titled 'All Empires Fall'is up for grabs on Relapse. https://store.relapse.com/item/38753 The Conan record was the latest record I picked up from the post office. Yet to listen to it though. I've only got sweet sweet love for Conan. They're doing their own slow (less so, on each album) thing and I dig that. Also finally received the Hendrix tribute LPs and am stoked to finally have them in hand and receive the variant I am most into as well. A year long pre-order and a nice pay-off. Have to say though that one of those variants, (clear/blue half and half with pink splatter was dead ugly). No offense to those who received one, ha!)
  9. Magnetic Eye records sale with the code 'KOFUKU' Great chance to pre-order the new Elephant Tree for cheap http://store.merhq.com/album/elephant-tree *Edit. Oh wait, I was late to the party.
  10. You can save some bucks and grab both their records from No Idea. 15% off with the code 'LivingInTheIceAge". Finally snagged those myself http://store.noidearecords.com/products/creepoidhorseheaven http://store.noidearecords.com/products/creepoid-creepoid Their newest released by Collect is also available there http://store.noidearecords.com/products/creepoid-cemetery-highrise-slum
  11. Thanks for the kind words dudes. All of this definitely rings true. She moved out yesterday so that's that. We had a cat the two of us so that will complicate things some as I love that little bugger and need to visit a lot but otherwise things are looking up. Still a bit confused as to how much I should keep in touch. Guess I'll have to go with intuition. I am definitely going to take the time to do some things I've been wanting to do for years but have felt somewhat the relationship has held me back on so that is keeping me looking forward. I also did that. The Goya LP arriving was one great gift for the end of a thoroughly harsh week. Made me realize music will always stay. Been jamming a lot of All Them Witches, Fuzz and True Widow. Especially stoked for the latter to bring out their new LP. I actually trust Zaum enough that I went in blind with that one. Still yet to recieve it but Oracles was so darn good that new lengthy tune (Serpentshrine?) can't possibly be bad. Shooting Guns is known to hold down on their end as well.
  12. Damn all you guys hyping Lycus so strong. I might actually go for a blind buy on that one. Right after I figure out how to make an order to Estonia. Relapse's new site doesn't seem to support my country anymore In more personal and somber news...I might break up with my girlfriend of 4 years. We're parting as good friends, sat down and made everything final but it still seems like it's not truly here 'til it's here. Our living situation doesn't really allow it to feel completely final. Not even sure why I'm divulging this to all you relatively anonymoums folk on a message board. Perhaps anyone has any words to live by to give for me that I should think about from now on ha?
  13. This is deemed to be good http://www.heavypsychsounds.com/bands/holy-grove.htmA Cover painting by the amazing Adam Burke (Ruby The Hatchet, Occultation, etc)
  14. In for a blind buy. Always with EITS. The blue actually came out cheaper for me with EU shipping.
  15. Holy crap. Was not expecting to dig that die hard so much. I was kind of hoping to be satisfied with getting that OBI. Damn those fancy colours.
  16. Yeah, compared to the artwork of their previous album this is a definite step down. Will have to give a listen to the new tracks. Not really sure what to expect. *Now that I gave it an ear, the vocal mix perhaps seems slightly odd. (Eye Among The Blind) I definitely preferred the sound on Invernal. The opening track is quite the tune though.
  17. Anyone looking to get the self-titled 12" you can do so for $10.33 through GileadMedia's new site. 19% discount with the code erodingprices. There was a discount for the Love Of Life boxset as well but those sold out already http://www.erodingwinds.com/product/swans-swans-12/
  18. Damn. Back in the same place I was when this first came out. Can't decide which variant to get.
  19. So, anyone else into the idea of putting up their list of anticipated albums coming up to get stoked for the new year? Stoner/doom or not. First thought is let's try to limit this to around 20 (because that's where I wound up hah) Here are those of which are already confirmed Conan Cough David Bowie Emma Ruth Rundle Explosions In The Sky Fogg Goat Heaters It's Not Night: It's Space Lesbian Mamiffer Mike Scheidt Mondo Drag Neurosis PJ Harvey Se Delan True Widow Ty Segall Wymond Miles And four of which are still unsure (but mighty likely!?) Grails Om Sleep The Well
  20. Also, anyone have experience with Under The Gun? I ordered Fogg's High Testament in April when pre-orders went up and I still haven't received my copy. Initially I figured that the first copy got lost in the mail. Then they promised to send me a second one. That also never arrived. Thought it was awfully strange to have two records of one album gone missing. I could actually believe that shipping has been horribly unlucky if they hadn't been so shady afterwards though. When I contacted them I and expressed my frustrations and bewilderment at the whole situation they promised to send me a tracking number. That was in the beginning of November. Another two forwarded messages from myself and I've still yet to hear back from them. Didn't really want to resort to that but I'll probably have to file a claim before the year is over. Been way patient with this already.
  21. Same here. Have been amassing records left and right but have totally fell off my listening game. Feels like I'm just putting money to sleep uselessly. In other news, you dudes probably saw this on either IG or FB but it don't hurt to throw this up here. Amazing gatefold and amazing wax. Mark your calendars January 2nd ! One STB release I won't be missing out on. Also, I suggest everyone go vote on The Obelisk's page for your top 20 of the year. Had a lot of fun compiling that one and it's always nice to see the results. You can enter your preferences here - http://theobelisk.net/obelisk/2015/12/01/top-20-of-2015-readers-poll/
