I was serious, and I do live in NOVA. I think it is something most people can do, and if you changed one with a headshell, you should be able to do this, just buy taking a title more care with the angles that you use when holding things. The cart itself is not fragile, so you can firmly hold it from the sides with the nuts (huh-huh. Yeah!) in place and drop the screw (uhhhh huh huh) in place and tighten it. But if you still don't feel comfortable, or want some assistance, feel free to send me a PM.

Just saw one copy in HT today, realized I haven't played this album in 10 years and decided to pick it up. The red/black looks AWESOME. A lot of the music is coming back to memory so it's a good nostalgia trip for me. The pressing is awesome, really perfect pressing as far as I'm concerned. Flat, well centered and super silent. The jacket is also impressively thick.
Really impressed with the SQ as well, it sounds much better than I ever heard it, and it's super dynamic. Great sound all around.
    BUT
They couldn't fucking get that segue right between Holiday and Blvd of Broken Dreams. Whoever was in charge of this: Get your shit together. Your one job is to put out records and you can't even put the music on the plastic properly. It's really not a good thing if even the kiddies with crosleys can make a valid criticism of the (lack of) quality of your product. I almost wanna blame Stan Ricker too, as great an engineer as he is. I know he can only cut what's given to him but dude. If something's wrong with the audio, you can like, you know. Fix it.
    Otherwise would be a 10/10 release, now it's a solid 3 IMO
    Flame away.

I ordered mine around 10:30 a.m. EST with no issues. Pretty siked until it arrives and my wife answers the door and she gets all pissed at me, haha.

Travis, email store 308 Augusta, Ga and tell them to sell them once they get them. I'm going up there in a few hours to see if they came in.

At least this idiot is upfront about it. 90% of discogs prices are insanely wack and if you contact them asking to deal they all say the same thing his description says. "Look I know this record is worth $60 but I love it so I don't want to sell it, but I'm listing it at $500 because if someone wants to pay that, then that's cool."

Those people should fuck off. /rant.

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between the red variant and clear smoke variant if you ordered both. There is no marking, sticker, and even the same upc for both copies?

I think we all need not pretend that we don't do pretty much the same thing (to varying degrees) when we get an album in the mail. Most of us just don't film it for the internet.

Yeah, don't you know you're supposed to sell your records at a loss? You eat the shipping, and the fees, because it's for the good of the community. Or some shit like that.

Flipping is buying an album with the intent to turn around and sell it in order to turn a profit. A ~$10 markup on an auction that already has free shipping doesn't seem like someone trying to max out his profit margin.

I mean, it's an autographed, numbered, OOP variant - a true flipper would have put this up at a much higher starting price. Hell, there are currently two other auctions for the clear variant, and they're both asking at least $69.99. That's flipping.

I know flippers are a problem, and I don't like them anymore than the next guy, but can we chill on throwing it around as an insult/accusation at every person who puts up an auction?

First of all, it's not OOP.  They still have them on the looney tunes website.  Also did they even charge shipping for pick-ups at the in-store?  So yeah putting it up for 15 bucks more than cost isn't really a margin.  And justifying the starting price because there are tons of people/ebay stores who list things at a $65-100 buy it now all the time doesn't justify that as a price point.

Hahah. Not a flipper. Would just rather that this was being appreciated rather than sitting on my shelf collecting dust. It looks awesome. I have other things signed by Bayside, I really don't need this one.
The $35 price I started it at was lower than every other price on eBay. Even for the standard black variants. And especially so for the clear variants. There's a couple of people with multiple copies, unsigned at that, asking 3 figure prices. THAT's flipping. This also was not otherwise available when I listed it.
Also consider $4 of that $10 markup is shipping. And there's ebay fees. And PayPal fees. So, what markup? This is basically at cost. So there's a slight possibility that I might have walked away 17 cents richer at my asking price? Wow.
I'm just trying to get this into the hands of someone who maybe wasn't lucky enough to be at the acoustic set but hey, believe/downvote what you want dudes. There's plenty of times I've taken LPs others couldn't get and sold them at cost right here on the boards. All I try to do is help and I'd hope that some of you would do the same.

Just seeing this thread now. Anyhow, my clear variant with autographed jacket is ending on eBay in about a couple of days. (230/266) Figured some people here might be more into Cult than I am.
It's okay IMO, didn't do much for me but for what it's worth I was pleasantly surprised that they still sound like Bayside.

We don't have arguments about company founders' religious values pertaining to their company's products on "we don't have that where I live" threads in Georgia.

But we do have Chik-Fil-A in Georgia. And I love me some Chik-Fil-A.

(For the record, Chik-Fil-A has donated about $1.74 million to anti-LGBT organizations in the company's history, but that pales in comparison to the other $67 million they've donated to hundreds of other organizations and causes of all sorts, not to mention the millions of dollars worth of food they've given away since their inception. Yes, they've done "the wrong thing" by standing by their personal morals which happen to go against those of a lot of their customers, but they've done a helluva lot of good things as well. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty tired of seeing this argument continue, especially in this particular thread, wherein it literally doesn't matter at all. Let's do this thread a favor and put the final nail in this crispy, golden-brown coffin.)
