It's basically like Kickstarter for music releases. You can set a minimum amount, and offer a record if you meet your goal. I think this is probably the way to go, to both gauge interest and raise the funds to make a pressing.

This is a definite nostalgia buy for me but the album has definitely held up since 2005. I'll probably play this. Worse case scenario is I don't and can sell it to someone later down the road for cost.
